Vehicle Assignment. Employees in the classification of Fire Prevention Inspector, and Staff Captains assigned as Assistant Fire Xxxxxxxx, Training Officer and Plans Officer shall be provided with City-owned vehicles for use in the course of their employment and for travel to and from their place of residence only. Such vehicles may be used for personal business only during those times when an employee is assigned stand-by duty. Employees assigned a City vehicle shall employ good judgment in the use of same, and shall not use it in a manner which would otherwise bring discredit upon the Hayward Fire Department. Fire Prevention Inspectors shall be entitled to select a vehicle for such use from among those made available for use by Inspectors, on the basis of seniority in rank subject only to operating requirements which necessitate the specific assignment of a vehicle. In the event of any recall to duty, employees will be required to report with the City vehicle in their possession. As an exception to the foregoing, those employees who would otherwise be entitled to use a City provided vehicle pursuant to the provisions of this Section may elect in lieu thereof to use their privately owned vehicles in accordance with the vehicle allowance listed below; Effective 1-1-98 Vehicle allowance shall be $390.00 per month. Effective 1-1-99 Vehicle allowance shall be increased by 3% to $401.17 per month. Effective 1-1-00 Vehicle allowance shall be increased by a percentage equal to the percentage of the January 1, 2000 salary increase.
Vehicle Assignment. Each operator is required to operate any bus or other vehicle that is, from time to time, assigned to such operator’s work assignment, unless the employee has a medical reason supported by a current medical certificate.
Vehicle Assignment. The City agrees to provide an equipped vehicle to one employee for each department that has employees on Standby. If more than one employee is on Standby at the same time, the vehicle shall be assigned to the employee whose domicile is geographically closest to the City’s Corporation Yard. The assigned standby vehicle shall not be used for personal business.
Vehicle Assignment. All deputies will be furnished a vehicle that may be driven home and parked at their residence during “off-duty” hours. It shall be a condition that the officers must live within Perry County, or with an approved exception by the Sheriff, for this to be allowed. For Deputies assigned to the patrol division, the vehicle furnished to them shall be a marked vehicle. Deputies are not guaranteed that a vehicle will always be available to take home. Circumstances may result in a vehicle not being available at all times. All deputies assigned vehicles shall be responsible for the cleanliness of the vehicle (inside and out). It will be each deputy’s responsibility to report all damages to any vehicles owned by Perry County and further to prepare and submit in writing any request for repairs, services, or damages needing repairs. Auxiliary deputies will not be permitted to take marked units specifically assigned to road deputies, unless approved by the Sheriff (or designee).
Vehicle Assignment. The County retains the exclusive right to assign County vehicles to employees represented by the Union or to restrict, regulate, or rescind such assignments at any time and in any fashion except a permanent vehicle assignment shall not be rescinded by the County until the employee assigned such vehicle has been given seven (7) calendar days’ advance written notice. For purposes of this Section, a "permanent" vehicle assignment shall be deemed one which lasts more than thirty (30) consecutive calendar days.
Vehicle Assignment. The employer will make a reasonable effort to assign the same full-time route each day if operational requirements permit. Management may interchange vehicles to equalize mileage and to reflect the mail volume for the various routes. It is the employer's intent that vehicles be maintained in an acceptable state of cleanliness, including periodic washes. RE: Item 4 of the Local Memorandum of Understanding It is the intent of Item 4 of the LMOU that all carriers will have the opportunity to select their yearly earned vacation within the rounds of selection. Every effort will be made to accomplish this task by the specified time of February 15th of each year by both Craft and Management. If a second round has begun prior to February 15th then carriers authorized a second round will have the opportunity to complete the second round. Xxxx Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx X. Xxxxxx

Vehicle Assignment. Subject to Administrative guidelines established by the City Manager, employees may be assigned vehicles for overnight use at the discretion of the Department Director. Vehicles will not be taken home overnight without advance supervisory approval.
