Variable salary. Variable salary is associated with the extent of research effort of the Faculty Member and is not fully guaranteed. Variable salary cannot be reduced during the tenure probationary period.
Variable salary. As of the Effective Date, the Management Board Member shall become eligible for a bonus. The Management Board Member is entitled to a bonus of 30% (thirty percent) of his gross annual fixed salary as referred to in Article 6 paragraph 6.1 if all milestones and deliverables in any business year are met. Within the first three months after the end of the business year, the degree of achievement of the milestones and deliverables during such business year shall be determined by Prosensa and the Management Board Member in good faith. The bonus for the business year shall be due pro rata to the degree of target achievement. The bonus shall be paid within the first three months after the respective business year has ended. The bonus schedule for any subsequent years and the milestones attached thereto shall be determined in good faith by mutual agreement of the Management Board Member and Prosensa by the end of the third month of the respective business year, at the latest. The specified terms and conditions for the business year January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2011 are set forth in Schedule 2 hereto. The bonus for that period, if any, shall be paid ultimately in March 2012, provided that the Management Board Member is in the service of Prosensa on December 31, 2011.
Variable salary. On or before the 15th of each month, the Company or an affiliate shall pay Executive in accordance with the schedule set out on Exhibit A. At the request of Executive, the Company will use its best efforts to make these payments in whole or in part in restricted stock or stock options instead of in cash.
Variable salary. The Employee shall receive a variable salary (the “Variable Salary”) in the form of an annual bonus. If, during a Financial Year, this Agreement is terminated due to a termination by the Employer for other reasons than Good Cause, including a termination by the Employer within six months following the occurrence of a Change in Control, the Employee shall be entitled to the Variable Salary on a pro rata temporis basis. Likewise, if this Agreement is terminated by the Employee after the occurrence of a Change in Control or a Change of Job Duties (Section 20.3), the Employee shall be entitled to the Variable Salary on a pro rata temporis basis. The same applies if this Agreement has been terminated by the Employee for Good Cause or upon Retirement of the Employee.
Variable salary. 3. Xx. Xxxxx shall participate in the Carnival Corporation & plc Management Incentive Plan, at an annual Target Bonus equal to Euro 1,116,000 gross. The Carnival Corporation & plc Compensation Committee may amend the Management Incentive Plan and the target bonus at its sole discretion.

Executive’s target Award Level (as that term is defined in the ACIP) under the ACIP is equal to seventy percent (70%) percent of Executive’s base salary annualized for calendar year 2019. Payout under the ACIP for a particular year will be made in cash by March 15 of the next year, e.g. payout for 2019 will occur prior to March 15, 2020, except to the extent of any payments associated with achievement beyond the “over-achievement” level, which are deferred, as provided for in the ACIP. Actual awards, in accordance with the NRI Board approved plan and any amendments, are at the discretion of the Compensation Committee of the NRI Board, provided NRI represents and warrants to Executive that the terms of the ACIP will not be amended, modified, changed, or interpreted or applied to make them less generous than they were on the Effective Date, without prior written notice.
