Vacation Pay Rate. Vacation pay shall be paid at the employee’s permanent or extended temporary rate of pay.
Vacation Pay Rate. An Employee’s vacation pay shall be based upon his regular straight-time hourly rate in effect at the time that he takes his vacation.

Vacation Pay Rate. Regularly Assigned Employees and RAREs shall be paid for vacation at the rate of their current bid job, employee’s not holding permanent bid position will be paid at the rate of pay for the classification in which the majority of the employee's time was worked within the preceding year. Relief Employees shall receive the rate of the classification in which the majority of the employee's time was worked within the preceding twelve (12) months. Seasonal Employees shall be paid for vacation at the entry-level rate for the department in which the majority of the employee's time was worked within the preceding twelve (12) months. An employee who works and uses time off in the same month must use the same pay type (Southeast or Southwest) for time off. Employees may use annual leave or A-days for an entire month, but may only combine annual leave and A-days in any one month when their annual leave or A-day account is depleted.

The vacation pay for Regular part-time employees shall be the base rate, including shift differential and split shift differential, at the time the vacation is taken, times the average number of straight-time hours worked per week during the vacation accrual year. If such pay for a Regular part-time employee exceeds the employee's regular schedule, the excess shall be attributed to weeks of earned vacation and shall be paid on days not normally scheduled. Except as described above, vacation accruals shall be based on an eligible employee's regular schedule and shall be affected only by permanent schedule changes. Data concerning an employee's accrued vacation will be supplied by the designated lab supervisor upon request.
Vacation Pay Rate. One (1) hour of vacation pay as provided for in Section 1 above shall equal the employee's regular hourly rate of pay at the time the employee takes his or her vacation. If an employee has commenced an approved vacation (including scheduled off-duty days, continuous therewith) and is thereafter contacted by the department for the purpose of being called in for work during the period of such vacation, the employee shall be paid for the time necessarily spent at work, and the time in transit, at two times his or her regular hourly rate of pay, in addition to his or her vacation pay. The employee may elect to waive the vacation pay for the number of hours necessarily spent up to a maximum number of hours of the regular shift and have the vacation hours re-credited to his or her accrued vacation leave time for the year.
Vacation Pay Rate. Employees using accrued vacation shall be paid for such 7 vacation at their current rate of pay. 8 County seniority is defined as completed years of service with King County and its 9 predecessor organizations.
