Vacation Lists. (a) Vacation preference lists shall be posted not later than March 1st each year, and shall remain posted until April 1st in order to give employees an opportunity to record their vacation period preferences. Following review and approval by the Employer, final vacation lists shall be posted in all Departments by April 15th of each year, and will not be changed unless by mutual agreement.

Vacation Lists. January 1st to June 30th For the vacation period from January 1st to June 30th, each department shall post a list by October 1st and the employee shall indicate by October 15th the vacation period he/she wishes. The Department Head shall post this list of the vacation periods by November 15th. After this date, the Department Head or the employee shall not alter that vacation periods unless by mutual consent. Vacation Lists. A preferential vacation list will be posted December 1st of prior year for the purpose of employees selecting their vacation dates as per Article 11:09. During the month of December, the applicable department head or his designate will approach each employee in order of seniority to select his vacation date. Any employee who does not indicate his choice of vacation, when contacted, will forfeit his vacation choice and revert to the bottom of the list. In the event that more than three weeks vacation are requested in the preferential selection for the time period referred to in Article 11:12, only the first three weeks will be considered for the prefer- ential selection. A secondary selection for the purpose of employees selecting all outstanding vacations will be completed. Vacation date selection will begin January 1st. Dates available will be selected from dates available from the result of the preferential posting. During the month of January the employee will be approached in order of seniority to select remaining vacation. The employees will have available a maximum four days to make this selection. If the em- ployee fails to make his selection, he will forfeit his vacation choice and revert to the bottom of the list. The remaining outstanding vacation (if any) will be available to any employee on a first come, first served basis. If any vacation remains not selected by June 1st of a given year, the employee will be con- tacted and reminded that selections must be made prior to July 1st.
