Vacation Leave of Absence. A leave of absence for the purpose of extended vacation will be granted to each employee for two (2) weeks (not to be taken in increments of less than one week). Such leave may be taken once during the life of this agreement. All vacation time including floating holidays and days in lieu must be scheduled and taken before a vacation leave of absence will be granted. This leave of absence is without pay. Regular vacation requests will have precedence over leave of absence requests and the granting of any vacation leave of absence will be consistent with departmental requirements.

Vacation Leave of Absence. (a) An unpaid leave of absence for the purpose of extended vacation will be granted for a minimum of one (1) day to a maximum of four (4) weeks.
Vacation Leave of Absence. An approved leave of absence for military service will not be counted as a break in the employee's service when determining vacation entitlement hereunder.
