Vacation by Seniority. Provided this does not interfere with the operation of the plant, vacations shall be taken at the time or times most desired by the employee concerned. Seniority shall govern the selection of vacation dates in cases of disputes.

Vacation by Seniority. Choice of vacation periods will be on a seniority basis, subject the Company’s right to determine how many employees may be on vacation at one time. Wherever possible, vacations shall be signed up by March 15th. The annual vacation period will be between the first (1st) Sunday in April and the week beginning with the last Sunday in March the following year. Vacation by Seniority. The parties agree to the following revision to Schedule C: Vacation, section 1D, for the Building Service Worker classification: If a more senior employee within the same zone submits a request within the two- day period and Management is only able to grant one request, the more senior employee’s request shall be granted. After the two-day period, the more senior employee’s request may be denied. Once a request has been granted, it shall not be revoked unless discussed with the supervisor. Vacation by Seniority. (a) Employees shall select their vacation dates in order of their seniority. (i) Outside of the prime holiday season stated in 12.03 above, no fewer than twenty percent (20%) of the Dock and Office Employees in each classification shall be allowed to take their vacation at any one time. During prime holiday season, no fewer than fifteen percent (15%) of the Dock and Office Employees in each classification shall be allowed to take their vacation at any one time.

  • Super Seniority In the event of a layoff, the Plant Chairperson, Committeepersons and Stewards shall have super seniority.

  • Role of Seniority A reduction in force shall be based on seniority within a department, discipline or specialty, provided that the senior staff have appropriate qualifications and are providing satisfactory service. Whenever possible, an employee shall be given an opportunity to serve the College in some other capacity for which he/she is qualified. This clause applies to all employees, including those on leave at time of reduction of staff.

  • Accrued Sick Leave The Board shall provide all employees with a cumulative record 23 of accrued sick leave hours on each pay statement.

  • Vacation Leave on Retirement ‌ An employee scheduled to retire and to receive pension benefits under the Public Service Pension Plan Rules or who has reached the mandatory retiring age, shall be granted full vacation entitlement for the final calendar year of service.

  • Pay for Unused Sick Leave Unused sick leave not to exceed 70 days will be paid at the rate of $50 per day when the teacher retires or leaves U.S.D. 506 employment, provided the teacher has a minimum of 10 years of service in U.S.D. 506. Article VI: Activity Ticket Each teacher of U.S.D. 506 shall be issued an activity ticket, which shall be honored at all regular school functions held within the district. Said ticket shall not be honored at basketball tournaments and special events. Said ticket shall be honored for employee, spouse, and children who have not yet graduated from high school. The Board of Education will have an expectation that those teachers in attendance at school functions will assume a reasonable amount of general supervision as needed.

  • Company Seniority An employee's total accumulated time of employment with the Company which has not been interrupted by a continuous period in excess of six (6) months.
