Common use of Vacation and Sick Time Clause in Contracts

Vacation and Sick Time. The Executive shall not earn, accrue, or receive vacation or floating holidays. The Executive shall be entitled to take paid vacation on an as needed basis, subject to the approval of the person to whom the Executive reports, so long as the Executive’s absence from work does not interfere with the performance of the Executive’s job duties and the interests of the Company. Notwithstanding this provision, the Executive shall be eligible for sick time in accordance with the Company’s sick time policy and entitled to any leave of absence for which the Executive would otherwise be eligible in accordance with Company policy or any applicable local, state or federal law.
