Vacation and Holiday Leave. Where practicable, requests for leave of 40 contiguous hours or more, or for holidays, shall be requested at least 60 days in advance of such leave in order that the provisions of this Article may be fully implemented; however, in implementing this provision nothing shall preclude the DHSMV from making reasonable accommodations for extraordinary leave requests or ensuring the fair distribution of leave during favored holidays.

Vacation and Holiday Leave. 15.1. For Battalion Chief Bargaining Unit members employed by the City of Xxxxxx, the accruals may vary from one pay period to the next based on the regular hours worked or whether the employee is in a paid status during the pay period. For Battalion Chief Bargaining Unit Members employed by the City of Springfield, the same number of hours is accrued each pay period. Accrued vacation and holiday leave may not be used until the completion of the pay period in which it is earned. Employees are not eligible to use vacation and holiday leave until they have been employed for six (6) consecutive months.
Vacation and Holiday Leave a. The Superintendent/President shall accrue two (2) days of paid vacation leave each month and shall be entitled to all paid holidays granted to management personnel. Accrued vacation leave shall be used at a time mutually convenient to the Superintendent/President and the Board. The Board reserves the right, upon giving reasonable notice, to direct the Superintendent/President to use accrued vacation leave. If the Superintendent/President plans to use more than one week of vacation at a time, she shall first notify the Board.
Vacation and Holiday Leave. Xxxx is entitled annually to the twelve (12) paid holidays set forth in the adopted school calendar to be used on such days as set forth in the adopted school calendar. In addition, Xxxx shall receive twenty-five (25) paid days of vacation leave annually, exclusive of legal holidays. Vacation days shall be used during the contract year earned, except that Superintendent may elect to be reimbursed for up to a maximum of ten (10) unused vacation days each year at his per diem rate (Annual Salary divided by 220 days) for each unused day, which shall be paid in the second pay period in August of each Contract Year. Superintendent is not entitled to carry forward any days of unused vacation leave from the previous contract year. Upon separation of employment for any reason (except termination for cause), up to a maximum of ten (10) vacation days shall be paid to Superintendent at his per diem rate (Annual Salary divided by 220 days) for each unused day. In the event of his death, payment for such unused vacation days shall be made to Xxxx’x estate at his per diem rate (Annual Salary divided by 220 days).
