Using Your Card for International Transactions. Visa: You may use your Card for retail Purchases at foreign merchants and for cash withdrawals from foreign ATMs. Some merchant and ATM transactions, even if you and/or the merchant or ATM are located in the United States, are considered foreign transactions under the applicable rules, in which case we will add the Foreign Transaction Fee INTEREST CHARGE described in this section to those transactions. We do not control how these merchants, ATMs, and transactions are classified for this purpose. The exchange rate in effect when the transaction is processed may differ from the rate in effect on the date of the transaction or the date of the posting of the transaction to your Account. If you use your Card at a merchant or an ATM that bears the Visa logo (and no PLUS System logo), the transaction will be processed through the Visa system and will be converted to U.S. Dollars according to the applicable rules established by Visa from time to time. Currently, the currency conversion rate used by Visa to determine the foreign currency transaction amount in U.S. Dollars is determined by multiplying the amount of the foreign currency transaction times (a) a rate selected by Visa from the range of rates available in wholesale currency markets for the applicable central processing date, which rate may vary from the rate Visa itself receives, or (b) the government-mandated rate in effect for the applicable central processing date. If your foreign transaction is in foreign currency prior to being processed by Visa, we will add a Foreign Transaction Fee INTEREST CHARGE of up to 3.00% of the Purchase or ATM transaction. If your foreign transaction is in or converted to U.S. Dollars prior to being processed by Visa, we will add a Foreign Transaction Fee INTEREST CHARGE of up to 3.00% of the Purchase or ATM transaction. If you use your Card at an ATM that bears only the PLUS System logo (and no Visa logo), the transaction will be processed through the PLUS System and will be converted into U.S. Dollars at the exchange rate established, from time to time, by the operator of that ATM. To the converted transaction we will not add a Foreign Transaction Fee INTEREST CHARGE. If a suspicious transaction or a transaction out of your normal spending pattern appears, it is possible that your debit card could be blocked. Please contact us so we can notate your account(s). Using Your Card for International Transactions. You may use your Card for Purchases at foreign merchants and for cash withdrawals from foreign ATMs that display the American Express logo. If you make a charge or cash withdrawal in a foreign currency, American Express will convert it into U.S. Dollars on the date that American Express or American Express’ agents process it, which may be different than the date of the transaction. Unless a particular rate is required by law, the rate American Express uses to convert transactions in foreign currencies to U.S. Dollars is no more than the highest official rate published by a government agency or the highest interbank rate from customary banking sources on the conversion date or the prior business day. This rate may differ from the rates that are in effect on the date of your charge or withdrawal. Charges that are converted directly by a merchant (such as airlines) will be at the rates they use. If your transaction is in a foreign currency, we will add a Foreign Transaction Fee INTEREST CHARGE of up to 3% of the Purchase transaction or up to 3% of the ATM transaction. If you make a transaction in U.S. Dollars outside the United States (including charges made from websites outside the United States), we will add a Foreign Transaction Fee INTEREST CHARGE of up to 3% of the Purchase transaction or up to 3% of the ATM transaction. Using Your Card for International Transactions. If you use your Card to obtain cash or to purchase goods or services in another country, the amount of the charge in foreign currency (i.e., any currency other than U.S. Dollars) will be converted to a U.S. Dollar amount by the applicable network (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, etc.). In making this conversion, the network will use the procedures set forth in its operating regulations. Conversion to U.S. Dollars may occur on a date other than the date of the transaction; therefore, the currency conversion rate may be different from the conversion rate in effect on the transaction date. You understand that we do not determine the currency conversion rate that is used, and we do not receive any portion of the currency conversion rate. Each of these transactions will be subject to a Foreign Transaction Surcharge as set forth in the Schedule of Account Fees and Terms below.

  • International Transactions When you use your Visa Debit Card, Platinum Visa Credit Card, or ATM card for international transactions, a fee will be assessed. You agree to pay a 1.00% international transaction fee for ATM and point-of-sale (i.e., PIN-based) transactions and a 3.00% international transaction fee for all other international transactions and cash advances. The fee will be assessed on international transactions if a currency conversion does take place or if the transaction is processed in U.S. dollars. When you use your Visa Debit Card, Visa Credit Card, or ATM card at a merchant that settles in, or at an ATM that dispenses, currency other than U.S. dollars, the charge will be converted into the U.S. dollar amount. The currency conversion rate used to determine the transaction amount in U.S. dollars is either a wholesale market rate or the government-mandated rate in effect the day before the processing date. The conversion rate in effect on the processing date may differ from the rate in effect on the transaction date or posting date. The International Transaction Fee will be calculated after the transaction has been converted to U.S. dollars.

  • Your Rights If You Are Dissatisfied With Your Credit Card Purchases If you are dissatisfied with the goods or services that you have purchased with your credit card, and you have tried in good faith to correct the problem with the merchant, you may have the right not to pay the remaining amount due on the purchase. To use this right, all of the following must be true:

  • OVERSEAS TRANSACTIONS 13.1 The Cardmember may use the Credit Card outside Malaysia where there are Authorised Merchants and/or Authorised Cash Outlets.

  • INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT 1. Profits derived by an enterprise of a Contracting State from the operation of ships or aircraft in international traffic shall be taxable only in that State.

  • Using Your Card You understand that the use of your credit card or credit card account will constitute acknowledgement of receipt and agreement to the terms of the Credit Card Agreement and Credit Card Account Opening Disclosure (Disclosure). You may use your card to make purchases from merchants and others who accept your card. The credit union is not responsible for the refusal of any merchant or financial institution to honor your card. If you wish to pay for goods or services over the Internet, you may be required to provide card number security information before you will be permitted to complete the transaction. In addition, you may obtain cash advances from the Credit Union, from other financial institutions that accept your card, and from some automated teller machines (ATMs). (Not all ATMs accept your card.) If the credit union authorizes ATM transactions with your card, it will issue you a personal identification number (PIN). To obtain cash advances from an ATM, you must use the PIN issued to you for use with your card. You agree that you will not use your card for any transaction that is illegal under applicable federal, state, or local law. Even if you use your card for an illegal transaction, you will be responsible for all amounts and charges incurred in connection with the transaction. If you are permitted to obtain cash advances on your account, you may also use your card to purchase instruments and engage in transactions that we consider the equivalent of cash. Such transactions will be posted to your account as cash advances and include, but are not limited to, wire transfers, money orders, bets, lottery tickets, and casino gaming chips, as applicable. This paragraph shall not be interpreted as permitting or authorizing any transaction that is illegal.

  • INTERNATIONAL TRAFFIC 1. Profits from the operation of ships or aircraft in international traffic shall be taxable only in the Contracting State in which the place of effective management of the enterprise is situated.

  • Loading Your Card You may add funds to your Card, called "value loading", at any time. Value will be "loaded" or added to the Card after it has been activated and the authenticity of the Card and/or "load" instruction has been verified. You can add ("reload") additional value to your Card in any of the following ways: (a) making a payment at your local Xxxxxxx Federal Credit Union branch; (b) direct deposit to the Card through an Automated Clearing House (“ACH”) funds transfer and receive the funds up to 2 days early dependent on the timing of payer’s submission of ach deposit versus the scheduled payment date; (c) visiting xxx.xxxx.xxx or calling 866-901- 8090 to initiate an ACH funds transfer from your designated funding account; d) transfer funds to your Card from an eligible checking or savings account held by you at a U.S. financial institution by means of using the Bank’s online banking system; or e) visit participating Visa ReadyLink merchants to reload, merchants reserve the right to charge a fee. Find a Visa ReadyLink merchant at: xxxxx://xxx.xxxx.xxx/pay-with-visa/cards/services-locator.html. A load or reload fee may apply for each load or reload. The minimum amount of the initial load and each reload transaction load is $10.00. The maximum amount of the initial cash load and each cash reload is $2500.00 per transaction, with a total cumulative cash load/reload limit of $2500.00 per day. The maximum amount of value that can reside on the Card at any time is $2500.00. The number of loads on a Non-Personalized Card is limited to four (4) including the initial load. Personalized Cards have unlimited reload capabilities. We may increase or decrease these limits from time to time in our sole discretion without prior notice to you. We will limit the number of Cards provided to you. We reserve the right to accept or reject any request to load or reload value to the Card at our sole discretion. With the exception of reloads performed through direct deposit, the Card may only be reloaded by the Cardholder. AN UNAUTHORIZED USER MAY NOT RELOAD FUNDS TO THE CARD. You can receive Automated Clearing House (“ACH”) direct deposits. You may provide your Card Account number for these deposits, but you agree not to provide your Card Account number to third parties to withdraw funds. If you are a party to an ACH entry, you agree to be bound by the rules and regulations of the National Automated Clearing House Association ("NACHA") Operating Rules and Guidelines (collectively, the “NACHA Rules”), the rules of any local ACH, and the rules of any other system through which the entry is made. Provisional Payment. Credit we give you with respect to an ACH credit entry is provisional until we receive final settlement for that entry through a Federal Reserve Bank. If we do not receive final settlement, you agree that we are entitled to a refund of the amount credited to you in connection with the entry, and the party making the payment to you via such entry (i.e., the originator of the entry) shall not be deemed to have paid you in the amount of such entry. Notice of Receipt. Under the NACHA Rules, which are applicable to ACH transactions involving your Card Account, we are not required to give next day notice to you of receipt of ACH item and we will not do so. However, we will continue to notify you of the receipt of payments in the account transaction history made available to you. You may also use the Mobile Cashed Check Load service offered by Ingo Money, Inc. (a third-party service provider) to load funds from eligible cashed checks to your Card using your mobile device. Even though we may allow use of the Mobile Cashed Check Load service to add money to your Card, we do not provide this service and are not responsible for any service-related issues. To use this service, you must agree to the terms and conditions the service provider establishes from time to time. Although we do not charge any fees in connection with Mobile Cashed Check Loads, the service provider providing such service may charge a fee depending on the funding option you select. The terms and conditions, including the applicable fees, will be provided to you at the time you sign up for the service. You can sign up for this service by visiting xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxx. The service provider should notify you about any fees for a particular load before you authorize the load. Generally, you will not have access to the money you load via the Mobile Cashed Check Load service until your check clears (this can take up to ten (10) business days). The service provider may offer immediate funds availability for a fee. See the Ingo Money Service Terms and Conditions at xxxxx://xxxxxxxxx.xxx/terms- conditions.html for limitations and complete details. Currently, these are the only methods that you can load your Card by check or money order.

  • International ACH Transactions You understand that in the event an International ACH Transaction (“IAT”) Entry that is transmitted to or from any of your accounts is identified and designated by the Credit Union’s screening criteria for review and examination under the OFAC Rules and Regulations (“OFAC Rules”). The settlement of such an IAT Entry may be delayed or suspended pending the Credit Union’s review of the IAT Entry, and may be terminated under applicable OFAC Rules. You acknowledge that we may be required to place an indefinite hold on the funds covered by the IAT Entry if the IAT Entry is required to be terminated under the OFAC Rules. You agree that any delay described above will be a permissible delay under the regulations applicable to the availability of funds held in deposit accounts. In the event an IAT Entry is delayed or terminated, we will provide you such notice as may be required by applicable laws and regulations.

  • Card Transactions (a) Card Network Rules. When accepting payment card Transactions, you must comply with all applicable Card Network Rules, including the Visa Rules specified by Visa, the Mastercard Rules specified by Mastercard, and the Card Network Rules specified by American Express. Each Card Network may amend its Card Network Rules at any time without notice to you.

  • International Travel All international flights with the exception of flights between the U.S. and Canada should be reserved through TMC using the “lowest practical coach fare” with the exception of flights that are six (6) or more consecutive hours in length. In such event, the next available seating class above coach shall be reimbursed. When required to travel internationally for business, employees shall be reimbursed for photo fees, application fees, and execution fees when obtaining a new passport book, but fees related to passport renewals are not reimbursable. Visa application and legal fees, entry taxes and departure taxes are reimbursable. The cost of vaccinations that are either required for travel to specific countries or suggested by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services for travel to specific countries, is reimbursable.
