Common use of Use of Other Leave Clause in Contracts

Use of Other Leave. An employee who is granted a statutory non disability leave may request and shall be granted the financial benefits of accrued vacation leave, personal leave and/or compensatory time off during the period of statutory leave; however, such time, if taken during the period of statutory leave, shall not be utilized to extend the same leave for a period in excess of that described in the request for such leave or the statutory maximum.
