Use of Leaves upon expiration of injury leave An employee who has exhausted all available injury leave shall be entitled to take unused sick leave, compensatory time and vacation time prior to taking leave without pay.

On a case by case basis, unit members who are on an existing or scheduled approved paid leave who are able to fulfill the requirements of this MOU regarding distance learning and service may contact Human Resources to determine their eligibility to return to work.

Use of Leaves. Unless specified otherwise, leaves will be granted in one (1) day or half (1/2) day increments. When less than all required responsibilities are missed, the Association member shall take leave for one-half (1/2) day. When all required responsibilities are missed, a full day of leave must be taken. Required responsibilities include all items listed in Article 3.08 (Workweek Schedule). Unless specified, leave does not accumulate year to year.

  • Abuse of Leave If it is found that a leave is not actually being used for the purpose for which it was granted, the Employer may cancel the leave and direct the employee to report for work by giving written notice to the employee.

  • Terms of Leave This leave shall be granted, in the following instances, for no more than a total of twelve (12) work weeks during the school year, July 1 through June 30. It shall be granted to eligible bargaining unit members for: (A) to care for the employee's child after birth, or following placement for adoption or xxxxxx care; (B) to care for the employee's spouse, son, daughter, or parent who has a serious health condition; or (C) for a serious health condition that makes the employee unable to perform the employee's job.
