Common use of Use of Documents Clause in Contracts

Use of Documents. 10.1 All documents (data, calculations, reports, Drawings, Specifications, Record Drawings and other deliverables, whether in printed form or electronic media format, provided by Engineer to Owner pursuant to this Agreement) are instruments of service in respect to this Project, and the Engineer shall retain an ownership and property interest therein (including the copyright and right of reuse at the discretion of the Engineer) regardless of the Project’s completion. Owner shall not rely in any way on any document unless it is in printed form, signed or sealed by the Engineer or one of its consultants.
