USE OF ACCUMULATED SICK LEAVE FOR FAMILY ILLNESS. Xxxx leave may be used for the teacher’s personal illness or illness in the teacher’s family. Up to ten (10) days of sick leave in any given school year may be used for illness in the teacher’s family. The Superintendent may authorize additional paid leave drawn from the teacher’s own accumulated sick leave for illness in the teacher’s family in excess of the foregoing ten (10) days. For the purpose of this section, the teacher’s family shall be defined as husband, wife, child, parent, step child, step parent, brother, sister, or person living in the same household as the teacher.

USE OF ACCUMULATED SICK LEAVE FOR FAMILY ILLNESS. Unit members may use up to six (6) accumulated or available sick leave days to care for an ill child, parent or spouse as provided for by Section 233 of the California Labor Code. This is in addition to use of accumulated leave provided in Section 4.5.

  • Accumulated Sick Leave ‌ The Employer shall inform all employees at least once each year of the number of sick days accumulated and shall make the information available to an employee on request.

  • Sick Leave Accumulation a. All unused days of sick leave at full pay for all employees, shall accumulate to a maximum of two hundred ten (210) days. Such sick leave benefits so accrued will be usable after the annual full days allowed, and prior to any half pay benefits.

Article VI: Activity Ticket Each teacher of U.S.D. 506 shall be issued an activity ticket, which shall be honored at all regular school functions held within the district. Said ticket shall not be honored at basketball tournaments and special events. Said ticket shall be honored for employee, spouse, and children who have not yet graduated from high school. The Board of Education will have an expectation that those teachers in attendance at school functions will assume a reasonable amount of general supervision as needed.

  • Accrued Sick Leave The Board shall provide all employees with a cumulative record 23 of accrued sick leave hours on each pay statement.

  • Payment for Unused Sick Leave a. An employee with less than ten (10) years of continuous University service, as defined herein, who separates from the University shall not be paid for any unused sick leave. For employees appointed on or before 1/7/03 University service includes continuous employment by the University or the State of Florida.
