Use of Accrued Leave. If the Employee's Workers' Compensation payments are not paid or are suspended for any reason, the Employee may elect to use available annual or sick leave with the approval of his/her Division Commander, as long as the usual requirements for such leave are met.
Use of Accrued Leave. An employee may use the accrued portion of the annual vacation leave prior to the time the full annual amount of such leave has been earned.
Use of Accrued Leave. An employee, at his or her option, may use leave pursuant to Article 8 Section 2 and Article 9 Section 1 or that leave will be without pay.
Use of Accrued Leave. Notwithstanding contrary provisions in the Agreement, classified employees who are in classifications within OSU’s sailing compliment are entitled to access all leave accrued under this Agreement beginning on the employee’s ninety- first (91st) day of employment or earlier if the use is permitted earlier under this Agreement.
Use of Accrued Leave. Eligible employees that have accrued vacation, personal or sick leave (for medical appointments only) at the time they use SNLA leave will be required to use such accrued leave during the time they are on SNLA leave. Eligible employees that do not have accrued vacation, personal or sick leave (for medical appointments only or as otherwise permitted by Town by-law or collective bargaining agreement) at the time they use SNLA leave will receive unpaid leave.
Use of Accrued Leave. Employees will be required to use his/her sick leave when absent on approved FMLA. Employees have the option, but shall not be required to use annual leave during this leave. Upon exhaustion of the paid leave, any portion of the remaining twelve (12) work weeks of leave available under the FMLA, if any, will be unpaid. The sick leave and annual leave used is counted as part of the twelve (12) week period.
Use of Accrued Leave. Pregnancy Disability Leave may consist of leave with or without pay; however, an Academic Researcher shall be required to use accrued sick leave in accordance with the University’s Disability Plan. If sick leave is exhausted, the Academic Researcher may elect to use accrued vacation time prior to taking leave without pay.
Use of Accrued Leave. A. The period of Parental Leave should begin no more than two weeks before the expected date of the child's arrival and end no later than six months from such date.
Use of Accrued Leave. During an absence period that may qualify for Paid Leave Oregon, employees may choose to go in an unpaid status while they wait for their PFMLI application to be approved and paid to them. Alternatively, they may request in writing to use their accrued leave during this time. If an employee is found ineligible for XXXXX, the employee may choose to retroactively request the use of their accrued paid leave if the use is otherwise permitted per District policy.
Use of Accrued Leave. Bargaining unit members must report to their supervisor when they are not able to keep a scheduled appointment relating to their on the job injury. Appropriate leave must be requested and authorized for leave which is not expressly related to the on the job injury. This includes, but is not limited to: vacation leave; personal business leave; and sick leave.
