Upon appointment the University will advise a Casual Staff Member that, after serving the qualifying periods referred to in Schedule 11(1.1.1), Casual Staff Members may have a right to apply for conversion and a copy of the conversion provisions of this Agreement will be made available to such Staff Members.
Upon appointment an Employee and her supervisor shall convene a meeting to discuss the duties and expectations of the appointment and the Employee’s career objectives. Subsequent such meetings shall occur at least once per year, if requested by the Employee.

Progression An Employee commences at Pay Point 3.1 upon initial appointment (subject to any prior relevant experience) and progress incrementally through to Pay Point 3.3 on completion of 12 months service at each successive Pay Point, subject to satisfactory performance. Supervision In some positions, general direction is appropriate. In other positions, broad direction would apply. Professional supervision from more senior members of the team may be required when performing novel, complex or critical tasks. Would ordinarily be required to exercise management responsibilities.
Upon appointment the University shall advise a sessional employee that, after meeting the eligibility criteria set out in this clause, sessional employees have a right to apply for conversion as an Academic Tutor and a copy of the conversion provisions of this Agreement shall be made available to such employees.

Upon appointment. Subject to Article the rate of compensation of the person upon appointment to a position in the Civil Service shall be the minimum rate prescribed for the class to which he is appointed.
