University Health and Safety Committee. (A) The Union shall have two (2) representatives on the University Health and Safety Committee. The Union shall have representation on departmental safety committees wherever members are working.
University Health and Safety Committee. The Union will have appropriate representation on the University Health and Safety Committee. The Union will be entitled to one (1) representative to act in accordance with the University Health and Safety Committee’s Terms of Reference. In accordance with its terms of reference, the University Health and Safety Committee advises Local Health and Safety Committees and monitors their effectiveness. The Union representative will be allowed to attend all University Health and Safety Committee meetings without loss of pay. The Union representative shall also be granted time off from work by the employer, without loss of pay, to attend educational courses and seminars that have been approved by Risk Management Services (RMS) for instruction and upgrading on health and safety matters. The Employer agrees to provide, at a minimum, such training as required under the Workers Compensation Act and Regulations thereto.
University Health and Safety Committee. It is agreed that the Union will have appropriate representation on the University Health and Safety Committee. The Union will be entitled to one (1) representative and (1) alternate.
University Health and Safety Committee. (A) The Union shall have representation on each Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee and on departmental Local Safety Teams wherever members are working.
