Common use of UNIT WORK Clause in Contracts

UNIT WORK. Supervisors and other non unit employees shall not normally perform the work of unit employees. However, Management reserves the right to assign supervisors or other non-unit employees to perform unit work to meet the operational needs of the University.

However, Management management reserves the right to occasionally assign supervisors or other non-unit employees to perform unit work to meet the operational needs of work, at the University’s discretion, when there are compelling circumstances.

UNIT WORK. Supervisors and other non non-unit employees shall not normally perform the work of unit employees. However, Management reserves the right to assign supervisors or other non-unit employees to perform unit work in the event of emergencies requiring immediate action to meet protect life, safety and health, prevent economic loss or property damage as well as respond to major emergencies, defined as a catastrophic event substantially impacting the operational needs campus, including but not limited to earthquakes, floods, acts of the Universityterrorism or public health emergencies.
