Unit Size. The minimum gross floor area for Affordable Units shall be: Studio/Efficiency: 350 square feet 1 Bedroom Unit: 500 square feet 2 Bedroom Unit: 650 square feet 3 Bedroom Unit: 850 square feet If market rate units for a particular unit type in a project are smaller than the minimums listed above (i.e. a market rate micro-unit of 300 square feet), then the affordable units of that type may be the same square footage as the market rate. In addition to the minimum square footages listed above, the minimum gross floor area for Affordable Units shall be no less than 80% of the minimum gross floor area for each market rate unit type in each particular project.
