The mid-year record day will be used for planning, grading, and record keeping. At least one (1) of the two (2) pre-school days shall be utilized for uninterrupted teacher preparation for the new school year.
Unit Member Year. The unit member year shall be defined as follows: 185 Total Days 1 All unit members not qualifying for extended service shall be granted one (1) day of extended service which shall be held no more than two days before the student’s first day of school and shall be one-half (1/2) day for classroom preparation and one-half (1/2) day for professional development/building meetings as set forth in Article 26(E). For those unit members qualifying for extended service pursuant to Article 26(A)-(D), this one (1) day shall be included within the extended service provided pursuant to Article 26(A)-(D). 176 Instructional Days 1 Classroom Work Day (which includes convocation and building and district level meetings) before the student’s first day of school.

  • Unit Member Any employee of the Board of Education who is a member of the unit, including substitutes and home and hospital teachers.

  • Bargaining Unit Member Rights 1. When an employee is to be interviewed or questioned concerning a complaint or allegation of misconduct, the employee will be informed of, prior to the interview, the nature of the investigation and whether the employee is the subject of the investigation or a witness in the investigation. If the employee is the subject of investigation, the employee will also be informed of the specifics of each complaint or allegation against him/her.

  • Annual Membership Fee You agree to pay in advance a nonrefundable annual membership fee shown on page 1, whether or not you use your Card or Credit Card account. The fee will be charged on a periodic statement shortly after you open your Credit Card account and after that in the same month every year. We reserve the right to waive all or a portion of the annual fee.

  • Units Interests in the Partnership shall be represented by Units. The Units initially are comprised of one Class: Class A Units. The General Partner may establish, from time to time in accordance with such procedures as the General Partner shall determine from time to time, other Classes, one or more series of any such Classes, or other Partnership securities with such designations, preferences, rights, powers and duties (which may be senior to existing Classes and series of Units or other Partnership securities), as shall be determined by the General Partner, including (i) the right to share in Profits and Losses or items thereof; (ii) the right to share in Partnership distributions; (iii) the rights upon dissolution and liquidation of the Partnership; (iv) whether, and the terms and conditions upon which, the Partnership may or shall be required to redeem the Units or other Partnership securities (including sinking fund provisions); (v) whether such Unit or other Partnership security is issued with the privilege of conversion or exchange and, if so, the terms and conditions of such conversion or exchange; (vi) the terms and conditions upon which each Unit or other Partnership security will be issued, evidenced by certificates and assigned or transferred; (vii) the method for determining the Total Percentage Interest as to such Units or other Partnership securities; and (viii) the right, if any, of the holder of each such Unit or other Partnership security to vote on Partnership matters, including matters relating to the relative designations, preferences, rights, powers and duties of such Units or other Partnership securities. Except as expressly provided in this Agreement to the contrary, any reference to “Units” shall include the Class A Units and any other Classes that may be established in accordance with this Agreement. All Units of a particular Class shall have identical rights in all respects as all other Units of such Class, except in each case as otherwise specified in this Agreement.

  • Membership Benefits The benefits of CamCare programs are available only while your membership is current and active. Benefits are term year specific so they can only be used during the current active plan agreement period. Members have the ability to change their plan from one plan to another but the plans cannot be unbundled. Each plan has been designed carefully to include those elements associated with the main intent of a particular plan.
