UNION VISITS. Duly accredited paid employees of the Union will be permitted to enter Anixter Center’s premises during working hours for the purpose of adjusting disputes, investigating working conditions and ascertaining that this Agreement is being adhered to, provided that such representatives follow Anixter Center’s rules and regulations upon entering and leaving any of the Agency programs as set forth in Section 1(b) above and further provided that the President or his designee be given prior notice in advance of the representatives’ visit, except in cases of emergency. Such visits will be reasonable in frequency and duration and shall not in any way interfere with any Agency program or function.
UNION VISITS. An authorized representative or executive officer of the Union shall be permitted, with the consent of the Location Manager, which will not be unreasonably denied, to talk with an employee regarding Union matters during regular working hours. The interview of such employee by the Union representative or Executive Officer shall be carried on in a place provided for, and designated by, the Employer. Time taken by such interview in excess of five (5) minutes shall not be on Employer time. Time taken for such visits shall not disrupt the serving of customers or scheduled activities.
UNION VISITS. The designated business agent and/or other union representatives will be allowed access and visitation rights to City property and facilities provided advance notification of such visit is given to the appropriate supervisor and the visitation will not disrupt the workplace nor interfere with productivity. Any employee called away from his work station (including Union stewards) to confer with the Union Business Representative must do so on non-City paid time and remain in such an unpaid status for the duration of the interview. Permission for an employee to leave their work station must be received in advance from the supervisor. UNION VISITS. Union Representatives shall be allowed admission to Employer facilities including meeting space at any reasonable time. Access shall occur for the purpose of administering this Agreement, including conditions relating to this Agreement. The Union Representative will first make his or her presence known to the Employer. Requests for meeting space shall not be unreasonably denied. Visits shall not interfere with work activity and client services. Union staff coming into contact with information about the Employer’s clients shall keep any and all such information confidential.
