Common use of UNION SECURITY 7 Clause in Contracts

UNION SECURITY 7. 01 All employees covered by this Agreement shall, as a condition of employment, become and remain members of the Union in good standing. The Employer agrees to deduct half of the monthly dues, as certified by the Treasurer of the Union, from two bi-weekly salary cheques each month for each employee in the bargaining unit and forward same to the Treasurer of the Union, together with a list of employees and the amount from whom deductions were made.
