UNION REPRESENTATION. 3.01 For the purpose of representation with the Employer, the Union shall function and be recognized as follows:
UNION REPRESENTATION. In any case where the Employee(s) presents her grievance in person or in any case in which a hearing is held on a grievance at any level, the Employee(s) shall be accompanied by a representative of the Union.
UNION REPRESENTATION. This Agreement recognises the CEPU as the legitimate representative of the employee/s. All prospective, future, and current employee/s will be encouraged to join and maintain financial membership with the CEPU.
UNION REPRESENTATION. 7.01 The Company acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or otherwise select Union Stewards for the purpose of representing employees in the handling of complaints and grievances.
UNION REPRESENTATION. 6.01 The Employer shall recognize the Representative(s) selected by the Union for purposes of collective bargaining, Agreement administration and general Union business, as the sole and exclusive Representative(s) of all employees within the bargaining unit as defined in Article 2 of this Agreement.
UNION REPRESENTATION. A Nurse has the right to be accompanied by a representative of the Union in a meeting with an Employer to discuss her or his ability to attend work regularly due to their health. The Nurse shall be advised of this right prior to the scheduling of a meeting.
UNION REPRESENTATION. Authorized representatives of the Union shall have access to the permanent commercial manufacturing and pipe fabricating shop of the Employer provided that the Employer is notified of the visit prior to entering the shop, for the purpose of adjusting whatever grievance may develop from time to time throughout the life of this Agreement, provided however, that such representatives do not interfere unnecessarily with the employees or cause them to neglect their work and that they comply with the Employer's rules and that the Employer shall not be liable for any injury to such representative while on the Employer's premises, other than injury which results from the Employer's negligence. An employee who is a member shall be appointed as a Xxxxxxx in each permanent commercial manufacturing and fabricating shop of the Employer by the Business Manager or Business Agent of the Union having jurisdiction. In addition to his regular work, the Xxxxxxx shall be permitted to perform during working hours those of his union duties which cannot be performed at other times. The Union agrees that such duties shall be performed as expeditiously as possible, and the Employer agrees to allow the Xxxxxxx a reasonable amount of time to perform such duties. The appointed Shop Xxxxxxx will have sole care and control of all the United Association Pipe Fabrication Labels. Those labels not under the control of the Shop Xxxxxxx shall be under the control of the Local Union having Jurisdiction over the fabrication Facility. The Xxxxxxx shall be the second to last non-apprentice classification worker to be laid off, provided he has the necessary qualifications to perform the work required. It is agree that if there are only Metal Trades classification workers in the shop then the Xxxxxxx will be from the Metal Trades classification.
UNION REPRESENTATION. No Shop Xxxxxxx, Union Committee member, or employee shall leave her/his work without obtaining the permission of her/his immediate supervisor. Employee-Shop Xxxxxxx or Union Committee member discussions shall take place where patient/resi- dent care is not affected.
UNION REPRESENTATION. Chief stewards and union stewards whose responsibilities bear a direct relationship to the effective and efficient representation of bargaining unit employees shall be placed at the top of the seniority unit roster in the order of their relative craft seniority for the purposes of layoff, reduction in force, and recall.
UNION REPRESENTATION. 1 At any meeting between a representative of the Company and an employee in which discipline (including warnings which are to be recorded in the personnel file, suspension, demotion or discharge for cause) is to be announced, a Union representative may be present if the employee so requests.
