UNION RECOGNITION AND UNION MEMBERSHIP. 18.1. The Company recognises the TWU as being the Union that represent transport workers covered by this Agreement. This representation will extend to all terms and conditions of employment/engagement, whether those terms and conditions are subject to this Agreement or not.
UNION RECOGNITION AND UNION MEMBERSHIP. Section 1.
UNION RECOGNITION AND UNION MEMBERSHIP. (a) The Company recognises the Transport Workers Union of NSW as being a union that shall represent the industrial interests of transport workers who are covered by this Agreement.
UNION RECOGNITION AND UNION MEMBERSHIP. Section 1. Having been designated the exclusive collective bargaining representative of the employees of the Company as defined in the Scope clause, the Company recognizes the Union as such exclusive representative. Accordingly, the union makes this agreement in its capacity as the exclusive collective bargaining representative of such employees. The provisions of this agreement constitute the sole procedure for the processing and settlement of any claim by an employee or the Union of a violation by the Company of this agreement. As the representative of the employees, the Union may process complaints and/or grievances and adjust or settle same through the complaint and grievance procedure, including arbitration, in accordance with this agreement. The occupations included within the above-described bargaining unit shall continue in force for the duration of this Agreement. The Union shall be advised promptly as occupations are added to or removed from said unit by reason of the establishment of new occupations or the changing or discontinuance of existing occupations. Should any dispute arise as to whether a new or changed occupation is within or excluded from the bargaining unit above described, such dispute may be taken up under the grievance procedure set forth in this agreement, beginning with Step 2. When Management establishes a new or changed job in the Research Department so that duties involving a significant amount of clerical, office or technical work, or any combination which is performed on a job within the bargaining unit (or, in the case of new work, would be performed on such a job) are combined with duties not normally performed on a job within the bargaining unit, the resulting job in the Research Department shall be considered as within the bargaining unit. This provision shall not be construed as enlarging or diminishing whatever rights exist in respect of withdrawal of non- bargaining unit duties from a job in the bargaining unit, provided that where non-bargaining unit duties are placed in a job in the bargaining unit under this provision, such duties may be withdrawn at any time. Management shall, on request, furnish to the Union reasonable information to permit determination of questions of compliance with this provision.
UNION RECOGNITION AND UNION MEMBERSHIP. 41.1 The employer recognises the Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees Association (SDA) and the Australian Workers Union (AWU) in North Queensland as being the Unions that represent employees who are covered by this agreement. This representation will extend to all terms and conditions of employment covered by this agreement.
UNION RECOGNITION AND UNION MEMBERSHIP. 46.1 Subject to the Freedom of Association provisions of the Act, Freedom will positively promote membership of the Union at the point of orientation or recruitment by strongly recommending that all Employees join the Union.
UNION RECOGNITION AND UNION MEMBERSHIP. 21.1 The employer recognises that individuals have the right to become members of the Union. Accordingly, the employer provides the facility for Union dues to be deducted on behalf of individuals who have explicitly so requested in writing.

For the duration of this Agreement the company recognises the AWU as being the Union that shall have exclusive representation of all employees covered by this Agreement. This exclusive representation will extend to all terms and conditions of this Agreement. It is the policy of the company that it shall recommend that all employees covered by this Agreement shall join the A.W.U. The company upon authorisation from the employee will deduct Union dues and forward those dues on to the AWU Newcastle, Central Coast and Northern Regions Branch office XX Xxx 000 XXX Xxxxxxxx 0000.
UNION RECOGNITION AND UNION MEMBERSHIP. (a) Xxxxxx Bros recognises the TWU as being the union that shall represent Employees covered by this Agreement. This representation will extend to all other terms and conditions of employment as covered under the Parent Awards.
UNION RECOGNITION AND UNION MEMBERSHIP. 1.1 Officeworks recommends to team members covered by this Agreement wishing to join the appropriate Union, that they be members of the Shop Distributive and Allied Employees’ Association. Team members who do not wish to be members of the Shop Distributive and Allied Employees’ Association (‘Union’) will not have their employment prejudiced in any way by their decision.
