UNION PENSION PLAN. Any unit of the university system at which all employees covered by this agreement sign a petition indicating a desire to participate in the union pension plan shall sign the required trust documents and make the designated contributions to the pension plan in lieu of wages. Subsequent increases in the amount of the contribution may be implemented in the same manner. It is understood that the employer’s participation in the union pension plan must be consistent with state and federal law and may be discontinued if it is determined to be unlawful.

UNION PENSION PLAN. Any unit of the University System at which a substantial majority of employees (at least 75%) covered by this agreement desire to participate in the Union Pension Fund shall execute the required trust agreement and make appropriate payment to the fund in lieu of wage. The amount and method of calculating the deduction shall be determined by mutual agreement.
UNION PENSION PLAN. The CITY agrees to pay directly to any pension plan designated by any of the UNIONS that are a party to this AGREEMENT an amount specified by the UNION for all hours compensated for by the CITY. This payment shall be in lieu of an equal amount of base pay. UNION pension contribution amounts are noted on Schedule A. It is understood that the Program for Enhanced Early Requirement (PEER) contributions are not taken into consideration for benefit accrual purposes under the Pension Plan according to policies of the Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Trust. Also, the PEER rate must always be 6.5% of the basic pension rate and may not be decreased or discontinued.

Pension plan participation is currently in effect at MSU-Bozeman, The University of Montana-Missoula, and MSU-Xxxxxxxx. After all employees at a unit of the university system have elected to participate in the Plumbers and Pipefitters National Pension Fund, such participation shall be a condition of employment for all employees in that unit until such time as all unit employees indicate a desire to discontinue participation in the Plumbers and Pipefitters National Pension Fund.
UNION PENSION PLAN. 20.01 The Employer shall contribute the amount of thirty-five (35) cents per hour, effective on the date of ratification (May 15, 2003); effective 4, January 2004, forty (40) cents per hour; and effective 2, January 2005, forty-five (45) cents per hour for all employees covered by this Collective Agreement. Such contributions shall be made to the Canadian Commercial Workers Industry Pension Plan (CCWIPP). The Employer further agrees to remit all such monies to the Pension Plan Administrator. The Employer shall execute all such required documents and agreements with respect to being a participating Employer of such plan.
UNION PENSION PLAN. In the event that the employees elect as a group to join the Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Trust, the Employer agrees to withhold the designated amounts from the employees’ paychecks as permitted by law to fund their participation in the pension plan. Nothing herein amends the employer or employee rights and obligations under PERS or MEBT.
