Union Orientation Meeting for New Employees A Union Representative shall be given an opportunity to meet new employees within their first four (4) weeks of employment, in order to acquaint them with the benefits and duties of Union membership and their responsibilities and obligations to the University and the Union. Such meetings shall take place within regular work hours, without loss of pay, for a maximum of thirty (30) minutes, and at such time as mutually agreed between the Union Representative and the Aquatic Centre Manager.

Union Orientation Meeting. A xxxxxxx shall remit to the Union, within fifteen (15) calendar days following date of hire the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union Membership Application Form signed by the new employee to provide a Union orientation training.
Union Orientation Meeting. Within seven (7) business days of his/her initial employment by the Company, a new employee will be introduced to a Representative of the Union by his/her supervisor for the purposes of permitting the Representative to provide the employee with information about the Union. The Representative and the new employee shall be released for up to one- half (1/2) hour of paid work time provided the time taken is during the employee’s and the Representative’s normal scheduled hours. The discussion between the Representative and the employee shall be conducted away from the space where Company operations or administrative work is performed. Within an office, no more than two meetings shall be held monthly. Whenever more than one employee is hired into an office within the same two-week period, every effort will be made by the Union and the Company to hold a single group meeting. The Company will advise a Representative of the Union within seven (7) business days of an employee’s transfer into the work group.
Union Orientation Meeting. The Employer shall institute a Union Orientation Meeting for all new hires within thirty (30) days of their date of hire. Union Orientations shall be conducted by a Shop Xxxxxxx or Union representative and shall consist of no more than thirty (30) minutes paid time. Non-bargaining unit employees shall not be permitted to attend such orientations.
Union Orientation Meeting. The Company shall invite a xxxxxxx designated by the Union at the employees’ orientation meeting scheduled by the Company. Such xxxxxxx shall be given the necessary time, up to fifteen (15) minutes for a group of less than three (3) and up to thirty (30) minutes for a group of three (3) or more for Union orientation meeting. Such orientation meeting shall be without the Company presence. Employee(s) and Xxxxxxx shall be paid for the duration of such meeting.

  • Orientation Meeting Within thirty (30) calendar days from execution of the Contract, Vendor and Order Fulfillers will be required to attend an orientation meeting to discuss the content and procedures of the Contract to include reporting requirements. DIR, at its discretion, may waive the orientation requirement for Vendors who have previously held DIR contracts. The meeting will be held in the Austin, Texas area at a date and time mutually acceptable to DIR and the Vendor or by teleconference, at DIR’s discretion. DIR shall bear no cost for the time and travel of the Vendor or Order Fulfillers for attendance at the meeting.
