Union Orientation Sample Clauses

Union Orientation. The Union shall be given the opportunity to make a presentation to new Employees of up to thirty (30) minutes during the Employer’s general orientation session.

Union Orientation. A new employee will have the opportunity to meet with the representative of the Union in the employ of the Hospital for a period of up to fifteen (15) minutes during the employee’s orientation period without loss of regular earnings. The purpose of the meeting would be to acquaint the employee with such representative of the Union and Collective Agreement. Such meetings may be arranged collectively or individually for employees by the Hospital as part of the orientation program. The Hospital shall advise the Union on a monthly basis of: (a) The names of the new hires for Orientation (b) The time and location within the workplace for the Orientation

Union Orientation. During orientation of newly hired Nurses, the Employer will allow up to thirty (30) minutes for a representative of the Local Union to speak with the newly hired Nurses.

Union Orientation. Two working days before each new employee orientation session occurs a designated Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ will be sent via email the most current list of SEIU bargaining unit employees scheduled to attend new employee orientation. At the time of new employee orientation the Employer will provide the Union Stewards with the complete list of names of those employees attending that orientation. Up to two (2) Union Stewards will attend new employee orientation to speak to new SEIU-represented employees for up to one hour, the actual time slot to be determined by the orientation schedule. Additional time may be agreed upon from time to time if mutually agreed between Human Resources and the Union Stewards.

Union Orientation. The Employer shall provide the President or Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ the names of new employees by the end of the month in which employment commences. An elected Table Officer, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, or Staff Representative or designate shall have up to fifteen (15) minutes at a time mutually agreeable with the Employer, to acquaint new employees falling within the scope of this Agreement with the fact that a Collective Agreement is in effect and to indicate the general conditions and obligations as they relate to employees.

Union Orientation. New employees will be allowed up to one hour with pay for an orientation with a union official regarding the collective agreement. Where more than one employee is attending the orientation, the union shall be allowed two hours for orientation. This orientation does not apply to students.

Union Orientation. Where the Employer/University Administration provides an orientation program for new employees, one hour shall be allotted to the Union and to the new unit employees during which time a Union representative may discuss the Union with the employees.

Union Orientation. Designated leaders and staff representatives shall have 30 minutes to meet on the job and on the clock with newly hired employees. Bargaining unit employees assigned to the union shall be released with pay inclusive of travel time if necessary for meeting with the new employee. Said meeting shall be scheduled at the end of the month when applicable.

Union Orientation. ‌ The ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ will be given an opportunity to interview each new employee within regular working hours without loss of pay for 15 minutes sometime during the first 30 days of employment. Where there is no ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ employed in the same work area as new employees, a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ will be given 15 minutes sometime during new employee orientation.
