Union Membership Dues. 6:01 The Employer agrees to deduct all union dues, initiation fees and/or assessments from the pay of each bargaining unit employee, as directed by the Union, in writing, and to remit all such monies so deducted to the Union, as directed by the Union, in writing.

No later than thirty (30) calendar days following the effective date of this Agreement, all present employees must, as a condition of continued employment, maintain their membership in good standing in the Union. “In good standing,” for the purposes of this Agreement is defined as the tendering of periodic Union dues. The Employer agrees to deduct, once each month, dues in an amount certified to be current by the Treasurer of the Union from the pay of those employees who individually request in writing that such deductions be made. The total amount of the deductions shall be remitted each month by the Employer to the Treasurer of the Union.

Union Membership Dues. (a) The Employer will deduct Union dues from the pay of each Employee in the Bargaining Unit, in the amount specified in writing by the Union, and shall remit same to the Union as soon as practicable and not later than 10 Working Days following the pay period end date.

The Employer shall remit all deducted fees to the Union office on the 20th of each month. Such remittance shall be made as a single bulk direct credit to the Union’s bank account with an identifying reference. Union Membership Dues. 5.01 The Union agrees there will be no solicitation for membership, collection of dues, or other Union activities on the premises of the Home, except as specifically permitted by this Agreement or in writing by the Home.
