Union Membership. Every employee who is now or hereafter becomes a member of the Union shall maintain membership in the Union as a condition of employment, and every new employee whose employment commences hereafter shall, within thirty (30) days after the commencement of employment, apply for and maintain membership in the Union, as a condition of employment, provided that any employee in the appropriate bargaining unit, who is not required to maintain membership or apply for and maintain membership in the Union, shall, as a condition of employment, tender to the Union the periodic dues uniformly required to be paid by the members of the Union.

Union Membership. Employees have the right to join or to refrain from joining the Union. Neither the Employer nor the Union nor any of their respective agents or representatives shall discriminate against or interfere with the rights of employees to become or not become members of the Union, and further there shall be no discrimination or coercion against any employee because of Union membership or non-membership. The Union shall, in its responsibility as exclusive representative of the employees, represent all bargaining unit employees without discrimination, interference, restraint, or coercion.
Union Membership. 1. It shall be a condition of employment that all employees of the Individual Employer covered by this Agreement who are members of the Union in good standing, on the execution date of this Agreement shall remain members in good standing, and those who are not members on the execution date of this Agreement shall on the thirty-first (31st) day following the execution date of this Agreement, become and remain members in good standing in the Union.
Union Membership. Membership in the Union is not compulsory. Employees have the right to join, not join, maintain, or drop their membership in the Union as they see fit. Neither party shall exert any pressure on or discriminate against an employee as regards such matters.
Union Membership. (a) No Employee shall be subject to any penalties against his application for membership or reinstatement, except as may be provided for in United Steelworkers Constitution and in accordance with the By-Laws of Local Union Nos. 1-405, 1-417 and 1-423.
