Union Member List. The Union shall provide the Employer with a list of bargaining unit employees who have provided a written, electronic or recorded oral request to have monthly Union dues and/or agency fees, plus any additional voluntary Union deductions, deducted from the employee’s pay and remitted to the Union (“Union Member List”). Such Union Member List shall similarly identify any membership cancellations or other changes in employee dues, fees or other deductions. If the Union Member List is submitted to the Employer electronically by at least ten (10) calendar days before Employer’s next pay date, then the Employer shall process such deductions or changes no later than such pay date; otherwise, Employer shall process such deductions or changes no later than the next following pay date. Any written applications for Union membership, authorizations for Union dues, authorizations for payment of agency fees and/or other Union- related deductions or dues cancellations which the Employer receives shall be forwarded to the Union. The Union will maintain the written, electronic, and recorded oral authorization records and will provide copies to the Employer upon request.
Union Member List. By November 15 of each year during the term of this Agreement, the Union agrees to furnish the Library District with a written list of the names of all its current officers and stewards representing employees under this Agreement, and with the names of Union members covered by this Agreement.

  • Union Membership Every employee who is now or hereafter becomes a member of the Union shall maintain membership in the Union as a condition of employment, and every new employee whose employment commences hereafter shall, within thirty (30) days after the commencement of employment, apply for and maintain membership in the Union, as a condition of employment, provided that any employee in the appropriate bargaining unit, who is not required to maintain membership or apply for and maintain membership in the Union, shall, as a condition of employment, tender to the Union the periodic dues uniformly required to be paid by the members of the Union.

  • Union Membership Requirement 5.01 All members of the Union shall remain members of the Union in accordance with the Constitution and/or By-Laws of the Union. All new employees shall, as a condition of continued employment, become and remain members in good standing in the Union within thirty (30) days of employment.

  • UNION MEMBERSHIP AND CHECKOFF 5.01 Neither the Employer nor the Union will compel employees to join the Union. The Employer will not discriminate against any employee because of Union membership or lack of it, and will inform all new employees of the contractual relationship between the Employer and the Union.

  • Union Meetings The Employer recognizes the Union's interest in keeping its members informed and aware of its activities through regular union meetings. The Employer may approve the use of the agency facilities to hold union meetings. Union meetings, including general and/or committee(s) meetings, held on employer premises will not interfere with the operation of the Employer.

  • Contributions for OTPP Plan Members i. When an employee/plan member is on short term sick leave and receiving less than 100% of regular salary, the Board will continue to deduct and remit OTPP contributions based on 100% of the employee/plan member’s regular pay.

  • Collective Bargaining Committee The Employer agrees to recognize a Collective Bargaining Committee whose sole functions shall be to meet with Employer representatives for the purpose of negotiating modifications to this Agreement. The committee shall be composed of two (2) stewards from the bargaining unit together with the Union's Business Agent. The Employer agrees to pay committee members at their regular straight time rate for all time lost from their regular schedule of work while in collective bargaining meetings with Employer representatives.
