Union Management Committees. 18.03.01 It is recognized that meetings between the Company and the Union are essential to the maintenance of good employee-employer relations and the establishment of mutual confidence and trust.

Union Management Committees. (a) The parties agree to establish a union/management committee for Xxxxxxxxx House composed of two union representatives appointed by the Union and two representatives of the Employer, unless otherwise agreed between the Union and the Employer. There shall be an equal number of union and employer representatives on the Committee.
Union Management Committees. There shall be established a Union/Management committee composed of members equal in number. This committee may call upon additional persons for technical information or advice. The Committee shall meet at the call of either party at a mutually agreeable time and place. Employees shall not suffer any loss of basic pay for time spent on this committee. The Committee shall not have the power to bind either the Union or its members or the Employer to any decisions or conclusions reached in their discussions. The Committee shall have the power to make recommendations to the Union and the Employer.
Union Management Committees. LA.10.1 The Board and the Union agree to recognize a Union/Management Committee which will be made of up to five (5) representatives of each party which shall meet at regular intervals at a time mutually agreed upon by the parties for the purpose of discussing mutual concerns which are not properly matter to be dealt with by other committees.

There shall be an equal number of union and employer representatives on both committees. The Committees shall meet at the call of either party at a mutually agreeable time and place and at a minimum quarterly. Employees shall not suffer any loss of pay for the time spent attending meetings of the Committees during regular working hours. Every effort will be made to schedule meetings within regular hours. In the event meetings cannot be scheduled within regular hours, it is understood that no overtime pay will apply to hours spent in Union/Management Committee meetings. An employee representative and a union representative shall alternate in presiding over the meetings. The Committees shall not have jurisdiction over any matter of collective bargaining including the administration of this agreement. The Committees shall not have the power to bind the Union, its members, or the Employer to any decisions reached in the Committees' discussions. The Committees shall have the power to make recommendations to the parties on the following:
Union Management Committees. A joint Union/Management Committee comprised of the Chief Administrative Officer, Director of Human Resources, the President, Chief Xxxxxxx, Recording Secretary and the Staff Representative shall be established. The Committee will meet at least once every quarter. The purpose of this Committee shall be to exchange views on matters which affect employees. This Committee shall not deal with issues properly raised under negotiations, the grievance procedure or Safety Committees unless mutually agreed. The purpose of a Labour Management Committee is to promote the cooperative resolution of the workplace issues including workload, to respond and adapt to changes in the economy, to xxxxxx the development of work-related skills and to promote workplace productivity. Employees shall receive their basic rate of pay for time spent in attendance at Labour Management Committee.

Union Management Committees. (a) A union-management committee consisting of eight (8) individuals, four (4) representatives appointed by Local 241 and Local 308 in total and four (4) representatives appointed by the Authority, with full right of substitution, will meet and confer on issues of mutual concern, including but not limited to innovative work practices, such as self-directed work units, safety and security issues, child care facilities, providing insurance to cover the cost of replacing lost or theft of radios, transfer cards and refund cards and establishing a service award program and pilot programs. The committee may also discuss matters of mutual concern except for grievances and negotiating changes to this Agreement.

Union Management Committees. 3.10.1 Whenever a District wide committee, task force, hot team, and/or any other factfinding or fact gathering group invites participation of bargaining unit members, the Union shall be contacted in advance of the committees formation and shall be allowed a reasonable period of time, not to exceed ten (10) working days, to appoint bargaining unit members of its choosing to the committee. If the Union fails to appoint bargaining unit members of its choosing within a reasonable period of time, not to exceed (10) working days, the District shall be allowed to seek voluntary bargaining unit members of its choosing. Unless otherwise mutually agreed to between the parties, a bargaining unit member shall not serve on more than two (2) committees, task forces, hot teams, etc., at any one time.
