Union Leave – Executive Board Members. (a) Upon request by the Union, confirmed in writing and provided that reasonable notice is given, leave of absence with no loss of pay and with no loss of credits shall be granted to one (1) employee elected as Executive Board Member and/or Executive Officer of the Central Union, for the purpose of conducting the internal business affairs of the Union, up to a maximum of twenty (20) days per year. The foregoing is contingent upon a suitable replacement being obtained and no overtime costs being borne by the Employer.

  • Transition Leave At the Appointing Authority’s discretion an employee under notice of permanent layoff may be granted up to one hundred and sixty (160) hours of paid leave, ending at the date of layoff.
