Union Dues/Fees. A. When an employee provides written authorization to the Employer, the Union has the right to have deducted from the employee’s salary, an amount equal to the fees or dues required to be a member of the Union. The Employer will provide payments for all said deductions to the Union at the Union’s official headquarters each pay period.

Union Dues/Fees. A. In accordance with RCW 41.56.113, the State shall enforce the Union security agreement in Section 11.1 above by requiring the coordinating entity to deduct the monthly amount of dues, or for nonmembers of the Union, a fee as described below:

Union Dues/Fees. Pursuant to RCW 47.64 all bargaining unit employees within thirty-one (31) calendar days of beginning employment shall fulfill a union security obligation by initiating the proper form as a condition of continued employment. The Employer shall enforce this obligation by deducting from salary payments the union dues, including initiation fee, required for membership or, for non-members, a fee equivalent to such union dues including any initiation fee, and shall remit the same to the Union. No provision of this Article shall preclude an employee from executing any other right specified under RCW 47.64. The Union agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Employer for any and all liability resulting from such deductions. The Union agrees to furnish the Employer immediate notification of all covered employees who become delinquent in payment of monthly union dues or the appropriate representation fee.

The Company shall deduct initiation fees from the wages earned by each Employee covered by the Agreement from a listing provided by the Union. The Union agrees to save the Company from any and all claims, which may be made by employees against the Company for amounts deducted from pay as provided in this Article. The Union will refund directly to any employee any monies deducted in error, along with confirmation of such refund to the Company. The Company shall provide a copy of the Collective Agreement at each work location. The Company shall provide the Union monthly lists of employees covered by this Agreement along with records of Union deductions.

Union Dues/Fees. The Employer agrees to deduct from the wages of all regular employees who are union members covered by this Agreement, dues of the local union for those employees who sign authorizations permitting such deductions. The Employer will remit to the local union all such deductions at the end of the month for which the deductions are made.
