UNION DEDUCTION. A. Within thirty (30) calendar days from when the Union provides written notice of an employee’s authorization for deduction in accordance with the terms and conditions of their signed membership card, the Employer will deduct from the employee’s salary an amount equal to the dues required to be a member of the Union. The Employer will provide payments for the deductions to the Union at the Union’s official headquarters each pay period.

UNION DEDUCTION. The City will make deductions on a regular basis from an employee's pay for regular Union dues, service fees, assessments and initiation fees upon the employee's execution of a payroll deduction authorization. The authorization for Union membership and/or dues is valid whether executed in writing or electronically.
UNION DEDUCTION. 1. The City agrees to deduct the Union's weekly membership dues and fair share fees from the pay of those employees who individually request in writing (by a signed authorization form) that such deductions be made. The amounts to be deducted shall be certified to the City by the Union. The aggregate deductions of all employees shall be submitted together with list of employees having deductions made and the total amounts deducted for each of those employees to the Union by the fifteenth (15) day of the succeeding month after such deductions are made. The amount deducted for union dues and fair share fees shall be submitted in one check.
UNION DEDUCTION. There shall be an automatic deduction of an amount equivalent to the regular monthly membership dues from the salaries of all employees. Regular monthly membership dues shall be in the amount established in accordance with the Union’s Constitution and By-laws and may include an amount for the Union Local which has also been established in accordance with such Constitution and By-laws. The Union shall advise the College in writing of the amount (including the Union Local portion) to be deducted. The amount so deducted shall be remitted to the Union Head Office and the Local Treasurer in the appropriate amounts in accordance with and subject to the conditions set out in Section of the Colleges Collective Bargaining Act, The cheques shall be accompanied by a list of the names and locations of employees from whom the deductions have been made and forwarded not later than the day of the month following the month in which such deductions have been made. The Union agrees to indemnify and keep the College harmless from any claim by an employee arising out of the deduction arrangements set out in this Article. By January of each year the Union shall be provided with information regarding the number of persons in each classification by salary step and by College.
