UNION COMMITTEES. Union Committees as provided for in this Agreement, will be of a size that will not unduly curtail production.

UNION COMMITTEES. 11.01 The Home will recognize the following:
UNION COMMITTEES. The Company agrees to keep the employee's pay whole while attending meetings with the Company. No employee will be compensated for attending meetings which extend beyond their regular work day or on an employee's regular day off except as otherwise provided for in this agreement.
UNION COMMITTEES. The union may appoint or otherwise select a reasonable number of stewards and a General Committee of not more than employees, including any union officer of the bargaining unit, for the purpose of processing grievances, negotiations for a new contract, or any other matter that may arise on behalf of the employees. All committee members, stewards and other employees meeting with management for the purpose of discussing scheduled matters or grievances during working hours will not suffer loss of wages for such time occupied. Both parties agree that for the efficient operation of the business, matters of interpretation and complaints shall be processed through appropriate management personnel and union officers of the bargaining unit. Employees shall have the right to call in the representative of for negotiations on all matters between the management and the employees. Leave of Absence Union Personnel The efficient operation of the management’s plant and business shall be considered first in granting leave of absence. In all cases of leave of absence under this Article, except as in paragraph two weeks’ written notice of such leave shall be given to management accompanied by the names involved. At no time shall leave of absence exceed one employee per department as listed hereunder except with the approval of management. The President and General Committee of the union requesting leave to attend meetings outside of the Commission’s work area related to grievances and/or arbitrations shall be granted leave of absence without pay to a minimum of one half continuous working day totalling ten times and a maximum of five working days, subject to the giving of five working days’ notice by employees assigned to shift work and two working days’ notice in the case of other employees, Total leave of absence in any one calendar year for attendance at union functions and work shall not exceed fifteen working days per employee. Employees designated by the union to attend union business shall be granted leave of absence without pay for this purpose, up to a maximum of fifteen days per person per year, except the Chair of the General Committee and the President who shall be allowed twenty-five days per year. No more than ten employees shall be granted leave of absence at any one time, except with the approval of management. UNION COMMITTEES. 5.01 The employer recognizes the right of the Union to elect or otherwise appoint a Union committee and the Employer undertakes to recognize and deal with this committee.
UNION COMMITTEES. 10.01 The Employer acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or otherwise select all Committees (up to a maximum of five (5) members per Committee) and Stewards and agrees to deal with such Committees and Stewards as to the interpretation or administration of this Collective Agreement.
UNION COMMITTEES. 9.01 The Board acknowledges that from time to time, Stewards may be required to perform duties related to the discipline and dismissal of employees. Stewards will not leave their regular duties for this purpose without first obtaining permission from their supervisor.

UNION COMMITTEES. For the purpose of negotiations between the parties, the Board shall recognize a Negotiating Committee of up to three (3) members of the Association, plus an outside consultant if desired. Meetings held between the parties for the purpose of negotiating renewals to this collective agreement will be held after normal working hours unless otherwise mutually agreed by the parties. Committee members will suffer no loss in pay or benefits for time spent during normal working hours in such meetings, up to and including conciliation.
