UNIFORMS AND PERSONAL APPEARANCE. The Employer agrees that if any employee is required to wear any kind of uniform as a condition of their continued employment, such uniform shall be furnished and maintained by the Employer, free of charge, at the standard required by the Employer. The Employer will provide shirts with a maximum of ten (10) shirts allowable each year (5 winter - 5 summer) on the basis of one (1) new shirt for each worn shirt turned in. These shirts will be main- tained by the employee. The uniform and UPS shirts will be worn at all times while on duty and at the standard determined by the Employer. Employees shall not wear any article of clothing determined to be incompatible with the uniform standards established by the Employer. The Employer will replace soiled and worn uniforms as needed and as reasonably determined by the Employer. Furthermore, the Employer will furnish coats, hats, jackets, gloves and rain gear to all employees who are required to work outside during inclement weather, and short-sleeved uniforms for hot weather. For employees whose assignments require their use, the Employer will furnish safety vests. Employer will provide Skycaps with at least one (1) cap.

In the event of a bona fide doubt as to whether an employee has complied with the Company’s standards on personal appearance, the matter shall be referred to the Committee for a recommendation before action is taken, provided the Committee can be convened and can make a joint recommendation within thirty-six (36) hours. Rain slickers and rubber boots will be available to be used by em- ployees working as shifters and/or car washers, if requested. Full-time and part-time inside employees shall be permitted to bring water jugs filled with water to their work area, provided the container is transparent and is subject to security checks upon en- tering and exiting the facility.

It is the policy that all employees shall wear clean uniforms, maintain a high degree of personal cleanliness, and conform to hygienic practices while on duty.
