Uniforms and Equipment Advisory Committee. The Lodge shall establish a three (3) member Uniforms and Equipment Advisory Committee. The Committee's function will be to offer recommendations relative to additions or deletions in the Departments Uniforms and Personal Equipment Program. The recommendations will be channeled through the Research and Development Division to the Department's Uniforms and Personal Equipment Policy Committee. Any and all recommendations made by the Uniform and Equipment Advisory Committee will be advisory only.

Uniforms and Equipment Advisory Committee. One Captain designated by Unit 156-Captains shall be added to the Department’s Uniforms and Equipment Advisory Committee. The Committee’s function will be to offer recommendations relative to additions, deletions or modifications in the Department’s Uniforms and Personal Equipment Program. The recommendations will be channeled through the Research and Development Division to the Department’s Uniforms and Personal Equipment Policy Committee. Any and all recommendations made by the Committee will be advisory only.
Uniforms and Equipment Advisory Committee. The Police Department and Union shall establish a three (3) member Uniforms and Equipment Advisory Committee. The Committee shall be comprised of one (1) Union-designated member of the Police Department; one (1) management-designated member of the Police Department; and one (1) mutually-selected member of the Police Department by the other two members. The Committee's function will be to offer recommendations relative to additions, deletions, purchasing and uniformity in the Department’s Uniform and Personal Equipment. The Committee shall meet bi-annually (in July and December) or as often as necessary, whichever is more frequent. The recommendations will be channeled through the Chief of Police. Any recommendations made by the Uniform and Equipment Advisory Committee will be advisory in nature and given proper its proper weight by the Police Department. The Police Department will apprise the Uniform and Equipment Advisory Committee whenever major changes to Uniform and Personal Equipment are anticipated.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Committee Work All time spent by employees on Employer established committees and committees mentioned in this contract (including side letters) shall be considered time worked and shall be paid at the appropriate rate of pay. Time spent on committee work will not be counted towards the calculation of overtime.

  • JOINT ADVISORY COMMITTEE 5.01 A Joint Advisory Committee shall operate during the term of this agreement consisting of one (1) employee representative from each location and up to an equal number of employer representatives who shall meet at least once every six (6) months to discuss working conditions, economy of operation, quality and quantity of service, safety and health, workplace stress, violence and abuse prevention, and other matters to promote an ongoing harmonious relationship between the Employer and its employees. The Joint Advisory Committee shall meet at the request of either party. The full-time Union Representative may attend said meetings. All time spent attending Joint Advisory Committee meetings by employees shall be considered time worked but time spent at “pre-meetings” will not be considered time worked.

  • Joint Labor/Management Committees Purpose and Membership. Joint Labor/Management Committees are established to provide a forum for communications and problem-solving between the two parties and to deal with matters of a general personnel Union/Employer concern, as well as professional practices within the hospital related to patient care and professional issues. The Committees will work toward the improvement of patient care and recommend ways and means to improve patient care; and will address problems and concerns related to staffing and workloads. The Committees’ function will be limited to an advisory capacity and shall not include any decision making or collective bargaining authority. Committee memberships:
