Uniforms and Allowances. Fleet Services employees shall be furnished adequate coveralls. Further, the shoe allowance for workers required to wear safety shoes shall be one hundred seventy dollars ($170) per year. The shoe allowance for workers not required to wear safety shoes shall be eighty five dollars ($85) per year.

An Employee will be reimbursed within ten (10) business days from the date in which he/she has submitted his/her reimbursement request provided it contains the required documentation and approvals necessary to process the request.

All designated employees in the Public Works Department will be provided a safety shoe at no cost up to $160 per person, and will be required to wear a safety shoe at all times on the job. Effective July 1, 2021, the amount for safety shoes shall increase to $200 per person.
