Uniform Replacement and Maintenance Allowance. Employees who hold status in the classification of Custody Assistant, Sheriff (Item No. 2749), Security Assistant (Item No. 2827), and Security Officer (Item No. 2828) covered by this agreement and employed on November 1, 2018, shall receive a lump sum payment of one thousand fifty dollars ($1050) in lieu of the uniform items previously issued and replaced under the 1979-81 Memorandum of Understanding. Such payment shall be made between December 1, 2018 and December 15, 2018, by separate payroll warrant. Uniform Replacement and Maintenance Allowance. Employees covered by this agreement and employed on November 1, 2015, shall be entitled to a lump sum payment of one thousand two hundred and fifty dollars ($1250) in lieu of the uniform items previously issued and replaced under the 1979-1981 Memorandum of Understanding. Such payment shall be made between December 1, 2015 and December 15, 2015, by separate payroll warrant. In addition to the above, employees covered by this agreement and employed on November 1, 2016, shall be entitled to a lump sum payment of one thousand five hundred dollars ($1500) in lieu of the uniform items previously issued and replaced under the 1979-1981 Memorandum of Understanding.   • Uniform Maintenance Allowance 22.1 The City provides uniforms or uniform allowance for employees represented by the Association. The City will continue to replace, repair and maintain uniforms worn in the line of duty. The average cost of the uniforms/uniform allowances are reported as special compensation (for those employees defined as “classic employees” by the Public Employees’ Pension Reform Act of 2013 for retirement calculation purposes and is currently reported as $17 per pay period.

  • Operating and Maintenance Costs The Participating Generator shall be responsible for all its costs incurred in connection with operating and maintaining the Generating Units identified in Schedule 1 for the purpose of meeting its obligations under this Agreement.

  • Repairs and Maintenance The Tenant shall (a) take good care of the Apartment and all equipment and fixtures in it; (b) promptly make all necessary repairs and replacements whenever the need results from the Tenant's act of neglect or the neglect of Tenant’s family members, guests, visitors or contractors (if consented to by Landlord); (c) keep the Apartment and any other part of the building used by the Tenant as clean and safe as possible; and (d) promptly notify the Landlord when there are conditions which need repair. Tenant shall be responsible for reimbursing the Landlord for the cost of any repairs that are not "normal wear and tear" repairs, any such costs shall be considered additional rent; (e) shall not attach to, hang from or place anything on the railings of the patio or deck; and ( f ) Tenant agrees not to install any partition walls. No outside contractor is authorized to perform any services at the Apartment or apartment complex unless approved in writing by a representative of the Landlord. If Tenant contracts for any such services without written consent of the Landlord, Tenant shall be wholly responsible for the payment for any such service and shall hold the Landlord harmless against any claim made by a contractor who performs any such service at the request of the Tenant. Tenant shall also be responsible for returning the apartment back to its original condition, or else shall be liable to the Landlord for the costs incurred for the Landlord to do so after Tenant vacates.

  • Facility Maintenance Seller shall perform, or cause to be performed, all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance required on the Facilities in order to meet the Warranty Specifications and Performance Standards. In that regard, Seller’s responsibilities hereunder shall include, without limitation, promptly correcting any Bloom System or BOF malfunctions, either by (i) recalibrating or resetting the malfunctioning Bloom System or BOF, or (ii) subject to Section 5.7(b), repairing or replacing Bloom System or BOF components which are defective, damaged, worn or otherwise in need of repair or replacement.
