Unearned Vacation. An employee who resigns or is terminated prior to having earned all the vacation taken may be deducted pay for such unearned vacation.
Unearned Vacation. The District shall deduct any vacation taken but not earned by the final pay warrant. Subject to their obligations to the District, employees shall be entitled to earned but unused vacation pay upon termination.
Unearned Vacation. Vacation need not be accrued prior to taking it and may be taken with advance approval from the supervisor. Advanced, unearned vacation leave will be deducted from final (termination) pay. Education Code sections 45197(f and g).
Unearned Vacation. A bargaining unit member who leaves the District’s employment for any reason after having taken or been paid for vacation that was not yet earned shall have the amount of used, unearned vacation deducted from his/her final paycheck.
Unearned Vacation. Where an employee has taken more vacation than earned, the unearned portion shall be charged against future earned credits or recovered upon termination, whichever occurs first.
Unearned Vacation. All employees who wish to take unearned vacation to a maximum of two (2) weeks may do so with the permission of their Supervisor and Program Manager provided they have completed probation. An employee who has used unearned vacation entitlement and whose employment terminates before earning entitlement to those credits shall reimburse the Umbrella for the remaining unearned credits.
Unearned Vacation. Vacation may be granted by the employee's department head even though not earned at the time the vacation is taken. Unearned vacation that has been granted shall be deducted from an employee's final salary warrant if employment terminates prior to earning such vacation.
