Underground Work. With the consent of the Business Manager special manpower accommoda- tions may be made for underground duct installa- tions and underground municipal distribution work.
Underground Work. Employees required to work underground shall receive an underground premium of 10% of their base straight time hourly rate, for all hours worked. This premium does not apply to work performed within basements of buildings or in open ditches. When necessary, the Employer shall supply the Employee with rubber boots, rainproof clothing and gloves.
Underground Work. A. Notification of Hazards: Contractor is hereby notified that the project involves work in a former underground gold mine. The surface property related and adjacent to the underground property contains heavy machinery, high-voltage electrical connections and conduits, open catwalks, and other elevated walkways, hidden hazards of tripping or falling and numerous other serious risks of health, life and safety, and risks of damage to property. The underground property also includes and contains heavy machinery, high-voltage electrical connections and conduits, open catwalks and other elevated walkways and hidden hazards of tripping or falling. Entering the underground property involves a substantial risk of underground fires, underground floods, collapse, failure of lifts and hoists, suffocation, being trapped, being crushed to death and numerous other serious risks to health, life and safety, and risks of damage to property.
Underground Work. The size and locations of manholes and types of cables, number, size, and location of ducts, locations, sizes and types of cable supports, fireproofing, duct line profile, and one line diagram of connections. All underground xxxxxxxx, including manholes and pull- boxes, shall be constructed of cast in place or one piece pre-cast concrete.

Underground Work. In Power, any work performed in the underground system other 2 than inspections shall require two (2) workers at the Cable Splicer’s rate of pay. Inspections may 3 include pumping and “one call dig” identification. Under no circumstance shall inspection be 4 interpreted to mean work on a cable. Inspections shall require two (2) workers, one (1) of which 5 shall receive Cable Splicer’s rate of pay. The other worker may be a Journey Utility Line Worker or 6 qualified Line Material Worker. For the purpose of this Article no Line Material Worker shall be 7 deemed qualified until they have satisfactorily completed a course in vault rescue and received 8 confined space training. In Rail, any electrical work performed in an underground vault of the rail 9 system will require a minimum of two (2) Rail Electrical Workers.
Underground Work. On industrial projects all Employees required to work underground shall be paid from collar to collar. Five Day Work Week Schedule The standard work week for day shift or single shift will be forty (40) hours per week consisting of five (5) shifts of eight (8) hours Monday to Friday inclusive. The regular hours of work shall be classed as straight time and shall normally be performed between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Underground Work. For underground work as defined in Article 16:01(c), each Employee shall be paid a bonus of fifty ($0.50) cents per hour or portion thereof.
