Common use of Unavoidable Delays Clause in Contracts

Unavoidable Delays. In the event that the Landlord shall be delayed, hindered or prevented from the performance of any covenant hereunder by Force Majeure, the performance of such covenant shall be excused for the period during which such performance is rendered impossible and the time for performance thereof shall be extended accordingly, but this shall not excuse the Tenant from the prompt payment of Rent or any other amount required to be paid by the Tenant under the provisions of this Lease.
