Unassigned Time. 1. It is understood that when a teacher in a special area is in charge of a class the general education elementary teacher may leave the classroom. The unassigned time provided by these special area teachers shall be given on different days of the week. The School Committee will use its best efforts to find a substitute for any teacher in a special area who may be absent for any reason. Each general education elementary teacher shall receive 160 minutes per week of such unassigned time, in blocks of at least thirty (30) consecutive minutes. The unassigned time shall be scheduled on at least three (3) different days of the week and reasonable efforts shall be made to give it on four (4) different days of the week. Special programs shall not interfere with a teacher receiving unassigned time as long as the itinerant teacher is supervising the students. Before and after school shall not be considered as unassigned time.

  • Reassigned Time Each faculty member who coaches students for intercollegiate forensics competition shall receive at least two (2) credits reassignment time for each semester, in which he/she fulfills such responsibility.

  • Banked Time Overtime & Time Balancing Overtime is earned when the Company requests an employee to work overtime. Banked straight time is earned when an employee requests approval to work additional hours for the purpose of accruing time for time balancing purposes, there is an operational requirement for the work to be done, and the Manager approves the banked straight time in advance. Employees shall have the choice of having their authorized overtime paid out or accrued as per Articles 21.02 and 21.03 in a renewable time bank, subject to the following conditions:

  • Extended Time Teachers, including but not limited to counselors, special education building coordinators, and library media specialists, who are assigned extended time beyond the school year to complete their regular school year duties will be paid on a pro-rata basis from the applicable salary schedule.

  • ETU Picnic Day In accordance with picnic day provision the Company shall require from an employee proof of picnic day attendance, ie ETU ticket purchase before payment will be made for the day. A ticket purchased in relation to an alternative union picnic day is not sufficient for the purposes of payment. Where possible no work shall be scheduled on the first Monday of December each year which is the Annual Building Industry Picnic Day.

  • Released Time Should the investigation or processing of any grievance require that an employee(s) or an Association representative(s) be released from his/her regular assignment, upon request of the Association, he/she shall be released without loss of pay or benefits.

  • Turnaround Time The number of hours between scheduled shifts shall not be less than seven and one-half (7-1/2) hours. Violations shall be compensated at the rate of time and one-half for all hours worked on the shift following the hours of rest.

  • General Exclusion Neither we nor our directors, officers, employees, or agents shall be liable for any losses, damages, costs or expenses, whether arising out of negligence, breach of contract, misrepresentation or otherwise, incurred or suffered by you under this Agreement (including any Transaction or where we have declined to enter into a proposed Transaction) unless such loss is a reasonably foreseeable consequence or arises directly from our or their respective gross negligence, wilful default or fraud. In no circumstance, shall we have liability for losses suffered by you or any third party for any special or consequential damage, loss of profits, loss of goodwill or loss of business opportunity arising under or in connection with this Agreement, whether arising out of negligence, breach of contract, misrepresentation or otherwise. Nothing in this Agreement will limit our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
