Unassigned Periods. Employees shall not be absent from school or any period without permission of the principal or Superintendent except as provided for in ARTICLE V - LEAVES of this Agreement. ARTICLE IV, TEACHING CONDITIONS, B, 3 also permits leaving the building for lunch with the approval of the principal or designee.

Unassigned Periods. 1. Elementary School Every elementary teacher will have an uninterrupted duty-free lunch period of at least thirty (30) minutes. Every elementary teacher will have five (5) preparation periods of forty (40) consecutive minutes of preparation time per week, free of student supervision or other duties, except when displaced by scheduled programs. Preparation periods shall not be taken away from teachers to cover a class, except when an emergency arises. In the event of such emergency, teachers will be paid $25.00 per period from which assigned to such service from the first such occurrence and thereafter.

  • Work Periods 10.02 Work Periods shall be:

  • Closed Periods No Noteholder may require the transfer of a Registered Note to be registered or an Exchangeable Bearer Note to be exchanged for a Registered Note (i) during the period of 15 days ending on the due date for any payment of principal on that Note; (ii) during the period of 15 days prior to any date on which Notes may be drawn for redemption by the Issuer at its option pursuant to Condition 6(c); or

  • Retention periods Documentation which serves as evidence of orderly and proper data processing must be retained by ATOSS in accordance with the applicable statutory retention periods beyond the end of the contract. To relieve itself of this obligation, ATOSS may turn said documentation over to the Customer at the end of the contract.

  • Break Periods The parties agree that the paid rest period contemplated by Article 16(e) shall be taken during times that will not interfere with the operation of the Strong Start Centre.

  • Vacation Periods Vacation schedules will be set by the employee’s immediate supervisor(s) and sent to the Office of Human Resources for approval. Employees may request a particular period for vacation. Vacation days may not be taken in advance of their accrual. Those employees who are on a 12-month teacher contract are paid during Spring Break and Winter Recess, however, are not expected to be in attendance or perform duties during those breaks.

  • Meal Periods (a) Meal periods shall be scheduled as closely as possible to the middle of the workday. The length of the meal period shall be not less than thirty (30) minutes and not more than sixty (60) minutes.

  • Rest and Meal Periods (a) There shall be a 15 minute rest period in each half of any full shift. Employees working less than a full shift, but a minimum of four hours, will receive one 15 minute paid rest period.

  • PERIODS Annual leave shall be accrued on the basis of weekly employment. The employee who wishes to access Annual Leave shall give four (4) weeks notice to the Company or less by agreement. Agreement for leave will not be unreasonably withheld.
