Unapproved Costs. Any rejected or unaccepted costs shall be borne by the Agency. The Agency agrees that in the event the Department determines that, due to Federal or State regulations that grant funds must be refunded, the Agency will reimburse the Department a sum of money equal to the amount of Federal and State participation in the rejected costs.

  • BILLED COSTS Charges for the services cited in Section II will be billed or cost applied in accordance with the procedures established by the county, and recorded on the books of the cost center providing the service. Such charges will be based on the actual allowable costs, as defined by Uniform Guidance, incurred by the cost center responsible for providing the service.   • Default – Reprocurement Costs In case of Contract breach by Contractor, resulting in termination by the County, the County may procure the goods and/or services from other sources. If the cost for those goods and/or services is higher than under the terms of the existing Contract, Contractor will be responsible for paying the County the difference between the Contract cost and the price paid, and the County may deduct this cost from any unpaid balance due the Contractor. The price paid by the County shall be the prevailing market price at the time such purchase is made. This is in addition to any other remedies available under this Contract and under law.
