TWO HOUR MINIMUM. The minimum time for which overtime compensation shall be paid under the provisions of Section 308.5 shall be two hours, except that if an employee who is called out for emergency work outside of his/her regular work hours on workdays continues to work into or beyond regular work hours he/she shall be paid overtime compensation only for travel time as provided in Section 308.6 and for actual work time up to regular work hours unless the provisions of Section 308.14 are applicable. TWO HOUR MINIMUM. Any officer who is called in to work by either the voluntary overtime or drafting, or who is required to remain at work by “Shift Draft”, or is ordered in to work outside of their regular scheduled hours, shall be entitled to work at least two hours of overtime once that employee has reported to the facility. If the employee is contacted prior to reporting for the overtime assignment and advised he is no longer needed, the employee is not entitled to the two hours minimum. This cancelation must be directly relayed either by phone, radio, or in person. The employee may waive this section, but will only be compensated for the actual overtime worked.
TWO HOUR MINIMUM. Any maintenance or food service employee called into work outside normal working hours or reporting to work as scheduled and sent home for lack of work shall receive a minimum of two (2) hour pay.
TWO HOUR MINIMUM. NONWORKDAYS When employees are required to report for work on nonworkdays or on holidays, they shall be paid overtime compensation for not less than two hours including travel time in connection therewith.

Employees called out who work into their regular shift shall be paid the appropriate overtime premium for at least two (2) hours and straight time for the remainder of the shift. The two (2) hour call-out minimum applies but does not change the normal starting time.

Example #2 Employees called out who work four (4) hours and travel one (1) hour (round trip) will be paid for five (5) hours. Example #3 Employees called out who work one (1) hour and travel one (1) hour (round trip) will be paid for two (2) hours. Example #4 Employees called out who work fifteen (15) minutes and travel one (1) hour (round trip) will be paid for two (2) hours. Example #5 Employees called out who work into their regular shift shall be paid the appropriate overtime premium for at least two (2) hours, which includes travel time to work only. This does not change the normal starting time for the purpose of extending the shift.
