Turnaround Schools. The parties agree that the District designated Turnaround Schools will continue to struggle as low performing schools without a systematic approach for supporting and providing resources to these schools. During the term of this Agreement, the parties agree to form a working group that, in conjunction with the Turnaround School Planning Group, will identify common barriers to reform that may be addressed in this Agreement. After mutual agreement through the bargaining process, decisions will be reached on how to best address the identified contract language. Possible solutions may entail a Memorandum of Understanding, removal or modification of identified contractual provisions, maintenance of provisions, or approving waivers, as needed, to better facilitate the work in these schools.

During the term of this Agreement, the parties agree to form a working group that, in conjunction with the ISI Planning Group, will identify common barriers to reform that may be addressed in this Agreement. After mutual agreement through the bargaining process, decisions will be reached on how to best address the identified contract language. Possible solutions may entail a Memorandum of Understanding, removal or modification of identified contractual provisions, maintenance of provisions, or approving waivers, as needed, to better facilitate the work in these schools.
Turnaround Schools shall strive for a model of collaboration and shared decision-making at the school site.

  • Turnaround There shall be a 10 hour rest period between the termination of work on one call and the commencement of work on the next call (see paragraph (f) below for specific rules) and a fifty-four (54) consecutive hour break for a five day week, and thirty-four (34) consecutive hour break for a six day week).

  • Turnaround Time The number of hours between scheduled shifts shall not be less than seven and one-half (7-1/2) hours. Violations shall be compensated at the rate of time and one-half for all hours worked on the shift following the hours of rest.

  • Background Screening VENDOR shall comply with all requirements of Sections 1012.32 and 1012.465, Florida Statutes, and all of its personnel who (1) are to be permitted access to school grounds when students are present, (2) will have direct contact with students, or (3) have access or control of school funds, will successfully complete the background screening required by the referenced statutes and meet the standards established by the statutes. This background screening will be conducted by SBBC in advance of VENDOR or its personnel providing any services under the conditions described in the previous sentence. VENDOR shall bear the cost of acquiring the background screening required by Section 1012.32, Florida Statutes, and any fee imposed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to maintain the fingerprints provided with respect to VENDOR and its personnel. The parties agree that the failure of VENDOR to perform any of the duties described in this section shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement entitling SBBC to terminate immediately with no further responsibilities or duties to perform under this Agreement. VENDOR agrees to indemnify and hold harmless SBBC, its officers and employees from any liability in the form of physical or mental injury, death or property damage resulting from VENDOR’s failure to comply with the requirements of this section or with Sections 1012.32 and 1012.465, Florida Statutes.

  • Unit Weekend Schedule A unit weekend schedule may be developed in order to meet the Hospital’s need for weekend staff, and individual nurses’ preference for a weekend work schedule. A unit weekend schedule is defined as a schedule in which a full-time nurse works a weekly average of thirty (30) hours and is paid for 37.5 hours at her or his regular straight time hourly rate. The schedule must include two 11.25 hour tours, which fall within a weekend period as determined by the Hospital and the Association. A nurse working a weekend schedule will work every weekend except as provided for in the provisions below. If the Hospital and the Association agree to a unit weekend schedule, the introduction of that schedule and the manner in which the position(s) are filled, shall be determined by the local parties and recorded in the Appendix of Local Provisions. This unit schedule may be discontinued by either party with notice as determined within the Appendix of Local Provisions. The opportunity for an individual nurse to discontinue this schedule shall be resolved by the local parties:
