Turnaround or Periodic Leave. On out of town projects of over fifty (50) calendar days duration, the Employer shall provide leave every forty (40) calendar days. An allowance for turnaround or periodic leave will be provided on a “use it or lose it” basis. The allowance will be based on the following formula: 18 250 km to 500 km $100.00 501 km to 750 km $200.00 751 km to 1,000 km $250.00 over 1,000 km $325.00 The mileage will be computed from the project to the transportation terminal nearest the employee’s domicile. It is agreed the above amounts will be paid only once for each turnaround. The extent of the leave shall be for a minimum of five (5) days to a maximum of one (1) week, or a number of days mutually agreed between the employee and the Employer’s representative. The timing of the leave shall also be decided by mutual agreement. In no event will an employee receive leave unless he actually returns to his place of departure. Living out allowances shall not be paid during leave periods.

An allowance for turnaround or periodic leave will be provided on a “use it or lose it” basis. The allowance will be based on the following formula: 250 km to 500 km $255.00 501 km to 750 km $425.00 751 km to 1,000 km $595.00 over 1,000 km $680.00 The allowance will be based on the maximum tax-free mileage rate established by the Canada Revenue Agency and will be established annually by multiplying the midpoint of each mileage range by the CRA mileage amount. These amounts will be updated on the same date as changes to the mileage amount are effective. The mileage will be computed from the project to the employee’s residence. It is agreed the above amounts will be paid only once for each turnaround. The extent of the leave shall be for a minimum of five (5) days to a maximum of one (1) week, or a number of days mutually agreed between the employee and the Employer’s representative. Qualification for this leave requires a minimum of five (5) days of work following the leave. The timing of the leave shall also be decided by mutual agreement. In no event will an employee receive leave unless they actually return to their place of departure. Living out allowances shall not be paid during leave periods.

  • Approved Leave of Absence During Vacation Where it can be established by the employee through a doctor's certificate that an illness or accident occurred, or where an employee qualifies for bereavement or any other approved leave during his/her period of vacation, there shall be no deduction from vacation credits for such absence. The period of vacation so displaced shall either be added to the vacation or reinstated for use at a later date, at the employee's option, as mutually agreed.

  • Bereavement During Vacation Where an employee's scheduled vacation is interrupted due to a bereavement, the employee shall be entitled to bereavement leave in accordance with Article 12.04. The portion of the employee's vacation which is deemed to be bereavement leave under the above provisions will not be counted against the employee's vacation credits.

  • Turnaround There shall be a 10 hour rest period between the termination of work on one call and the commencement of work on the next call (see paragraph (f) below for specific rules) and a fifty-four (54) consecutive hour break for a five day week, and thirty-four (34) consecutive hour break for a six day week).

  • Work During Vacation Period No employee shall be required to work during the employee's vacation once the vacation request has been approved.

  • Work During Vacation Should an employee who has commenced his scheduled vacation and agrees upon request by the Hospital to return to perform work during the vacation period, the employee shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1-1/2) times his basic straight time rate for all hours so worked. To replace the originally scheduled days on which such work was performed, the employee will receive one (1) vacation lieu day off for each day on which he has so worked.

  • Approved Leave of Absence With Pay During Vacation When an employee is qualified for bereavement leave, sick leave or any other approved leave with pay during her vacation period, there shall be no deduction from the vacation credits for such leave. In the case of sick leave, this section shall only apply when the period of illness or injury is in excess of two (2) days and a note from a physician may be required. The period of vacation so displaced shall be taken at a mutually agreed time. An employee intending to claim displaced vacation leave must advise the Employer and provide necessary documentation within seven (7) days of returning to work.

  • Sick Leave Verification Process a. The new school district shall provide the employee with the necessary verification form at the time the employee receives confirmation of employment in the school district.

  • Interconnection Customer Compensation for Actions During Emergency Condition The CAISO shall compensate the Interconnection Customer in accordance with the CAISO Tariff for its provision of real and reactive power and other Emergency Condition services that the Interconnection Customer provides to support the CAISO Controlled Grid during an Emergency Condition in accordance with Article 11.6.

  • Turnaround Time The number of hours between scheduled shifts shall not be less than seven and one-half (7-1/2) hours. Violations shall be compensated at the rate of time and one-half for all hours worked on the shift following the hours of rest.
