Tuition and Books. Tuition, registration fees and book expenses will be reimbursed to a maximum of $500 per employee per fiscal year.
Tuition and Books. The City will reimburse those classifications represented by the Association up to $600 per year for the cost of educational classes and books to encourage higher education subject to the terms and guidelines of the program as adopted by the City Council and respective bargaining unit contained within the City of Clearlake Personnel Policies.
Tuition and Books. Professional teaching employees employed prior to June 1, 1978, shall be reimbursed for the costs of tuition and books used in college or university courses in the employee's field of specialization or for recertification purposes. The approval of the Executive Director of the Schuylkill Intermediate Unit must be obtained before the employee incurs the costs. Following approval by the Intermediate Unit Board, reimbursement shall be made. Receipted invoices for tuition and books and evidence of satisfactory completion (not failed or withdrawn) of the course must be presented to the Special Education Director at least two (2) weeks before the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Intermediate Unit in order to obtain approval by the Board. Employees may opt to participate in the tuition deferment plan offered by many participating universities. The Intermediate Unit will not pay reimbursement directly to a participating university, nor be liable for payment of courses not successfully completed. After execution of this Agreement, in the event an employee resigns, for purposes other than retirement, disability retirement, transfer of entity, or program elimination, the employee shall repay tuition reimbursement to the Schuylkill IU. Reimbursement will be calculated based on one hundred percent (100%) of courses taken within two years prior to resigning. The phrase "two years prior to resigning" is defined as reimbursements received 730 days prior to resigning. Total balance shall be repaid within two years of the last date of employment.
Tuition and Books. 43.01 Where the Company sends an employee on a training or educational course, the Company will pay for the costs of tuition and course books/materials, as well as the employee’s lost wages.

  • Tuition and Fees The School Corporation shall not charge tuition to any student, other than a non-resident student in accordance with § 38-1802.06(e) of the Act, unless such student would otherwise be liable for tuition costs under the Act. The School Corporation shall not charge for participation in the School’s credit recovery program any student who is not liable for tuition costs under the Act, should the school operate such a program. The School Corporation may charge reasonable fees or other payment for after school programs, field trips, or similar non-mandatory student activities.

  • Documentation and compliance (a) The data importer shall promptly and adequately deal with enquiries from the data exporter that relate to the processing under these Clauses.

  • Education and Training The foundation of this Program is education and voluntary compliance. It is recognized that alcohol and chemical dependency may make voluntary cessation of use difficult, and one of the Program’s principal aims is to make voluntary steps toward ending substance abuse easily available. The outside contractor shall review and develop on-going educational and training information on the adverse consequences of substance abuse and the responsibility to avoid being under the influence of alcohol or chemicals at work. Certain training required by the DOT Regulations shall be the responsibility of the Substance Abuse Program.

  • EDUCATION AND TRAINING TRUST FUND 45.01 The Employer shall contribute four hundred ($400.00) dollars per calendar year into the United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local No. 832, Education and Training Trust Fund.

  • Education and Outreach Health Education Advisory Committee The PH-MCO must develop and implement effective Member education and outreach programs that may include health education programs focusing on the leading causes of hospitalization and emergency room use, and health initiatives that target Members with Special Needs, including but not limited to: HIV/AIDS, Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, Dual Eligibles, etc. The PH-MCO must establish and maintain a Health Education Advisory Committee that includes Members and Providers of the community to advise on the health education needs of HealthChoices Members. Representation on this Committee must include, but not be limited to, women, minorities, persons with Special Needs and at least one (1) person with expertise on the medical needs of children with Special Needs. Provider representation includes physical health, behavioral health, and dental health Providers. The PH-MCO must provide the Department annually with the membership (including designation) and meeting schedule of the Health Education Advisory Committee. The PH-MCO must provide for and document coordination of health education materials, activities and programs with public health entities, particularly as they relate to public health priorities and population-based interventions that are relevant to the populations being served and that take into consideration the ability of these populations to understand and act upon health information. The PH- MCO must also work with the Department to ensure that its Health Education Advisory Committees are provided with an effective means to consult with each other and, when appropriate, coordinate efforts and resources for the benefit of the entire HealthChoices population in the HC Zone and/or populations with Special Needs. The PH-MCO must provide the Department with a written description of all planned health education activities and targeted implementation dates on an annual basis.

  • Documentation and Record Keeping 1. Records to be Maintained Subrecipient shall maintain all records required by the Federal regulations specified in 24 CFR 570.506 that are pertinent to the activities to be funded under this Contract. Such records shall include, but not be limited to:

  • Composition and Meetings The Committee shall be comprised of equal number of representatives of the hospital and from the Union. The number of representatives is to be determined locally, and shall consist of at least two representatives from each party. Meetings of the Committee shall be held during normal working hours. Representatives attending such meetings during their regularly-scheduled hours of work shall not lose regular earnings as a result of such attendance. The Hospital shall make typing and other such clerical assistance available as required. Each party shall appoint a co-chair for the Committee. Co-chairs shall chair alternate meetings of the committee and will be jointly responsible for establishing the agenda of the Committee meetings, preparing minutes and writing such correspondence as the Committee may direct. Disclosure To allow the Labour Adjustment Committee to carry out its mandated role under this Article, the Hospital will provide the Committee with pertinent financial and staffing information and with a copy of any reorganization plans which impact on the bargaining unit. Accountability The Committee shall submit its written recommendations to the Chief Executive Officer of the Hospital and the Board of Trustees. Where there is no consensus within the Committee, the individual members of the committee shall be entitled to submit their own recommendations. Any agreement between the Hospital and the Union resulting from the above review concerning the method of implementation will take precedence over the other provisions of this agreement.

  • EDUCATION AND TRAINING FUND 22.01 i) The Employer shall contribute to the Union the sum of Five cents ($.05) per hour per full- time employee for each hour worked for education and training of Union members.
