Tuesday to Saturday. It is agreed that maintenance, repair and construction employees can be employed on a Tuesday-to-Saturday work week for which they will be paid straight-time for Saturday work. In such event, Sunday and Monday will be recognized as their rest days and any work performed on their rest days will be paid for at rate and one-half except as provided in Section 1(b). It is further agreed that the rest day, Monday, may be changed by mutual consent between the employee and the Company. In such event, work performed on Monday will be paid for at straight-time. If the employee works on Monday at the request of the Company the rate of pay will be rate and one-half. However, if the employee requests a temporary change from his rest day on Monday, work performed on Monday will be paid for at straight-time.

Tuesday to Saturday. The graveyard shift shall be any eight (8) consecutive hours from 11:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m., Wednesday to Sunday. The Employer shall provide forty‐eight (48) hours’ notice of a change in an employee’s daily hours. An employee may agree to waive this notice period however, should the employee not waive the notice period then the Overtime provisions of Article 15.01 shall apply. The employees rotate between afternoon and graveyard shifts weekly. The Employer must provide the employees with two weeks’ notice of changes to the frequency of the rotation.
Tuesday to Saturday. One dollar ($1.00) per hour shall be added to employees' classification rate for the Tuesday to Saturday shift. Second shift on Tuesday to Saturday will be paid additional premium as in (a).

  • Holidays on Saturday or Sunday When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday. When a holiday falls on Sunday, the following workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday.

  • Sunday Employees at the Maine State Prison shall be eligible for a weekend differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour to the base for shifts beginning between 8:30 p.m. Friday and 8:29 p.m. Sunday.

  • Monday to Friday inclusive Where a ten (10) hour normal work day is being worked, the hours of work shall be scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday to Thursday inclusive. The 4 x 10 hour day work week shall apply only when the week is scheduled for a minimum of 40 hours (4 days @ 10 hour/day) except where the week has a holiday.
