Trip Charges Clause Examples

The Trip Charges clause defines the fees that will be incurred when a service provider must travel to a client's location, regardless of whether the requested service is performed. Typically, this clause outlines the circumstances under which a trip charge applies, such as unsuccessful service calls due to client unavailability or cancellations made after dispatch. Its core function is to compensate the service provider for time and travel expenses, while also discouraging unnecessary or avoidable service visits.
